Safariland Quick Locking, 7360 Holster, and 7378 Holster Review

A quick review and demonstration of my new holster setup using the Safariland Quick Locking system with two new light bearing holsters. Wanted to share my experience with this setup and things I found out after ordering them.

Thanks. Just saw a video on this new Safariland attachment for their holders that lets the holster move up and down. Making it more comfortable while driving. It’s called QUBL QLS Universal Belt Loop. Looks pretty cool.

I finally pulled the trigger on the Safariland 7390RDS - 7TS for my Sig P320 X5 Legion, with a 507C and an Olight PL Pro. I really hope I got the right one, lol... Thanks for the great content and tips! I got the leg strap as well as the SLQ Kit1-2 for the QLS system, crossing my fingers...

FYI the light bearing 7360 for glock 17/glock22 will also fit the Glock 34/35 long slides with lights. The Glock 19/23 will technically fit also but there will be excess room.

Safariland light channels are not very specific, generally if you order one for an x300 it'll fit most any loght

Does the firearm retain without the light attached? I bought a Glock 17 with plans to buy the same duty holster now, and order the sure fire x300u later but I don’t want to order two different holsters for with and without a light

PedalStrapped yes, the holster locks onto the ejection port of the gun so it will fit and retain but it’s gonna be on the sloppy side

Stephen Serpas go to Safariland website they will build one for you. I have a level 3 made for Glock 19 with TLR7 and it’s nice and compact the size of the pistol. Was 160 bucks but well worth it especially with its compact design.

I'm needing some help. I havnt a clue on how to read the charts provided by Safariland. I have a Sig P320 Full Size in .40 with a TLR-1HL. I'm not sure what model of this holster will work. I'm looking for the 7360 but I'm not sure what exact model I need. Anyone able to provide help with this?

Safariland site is the most confusing mess I've ever seen. .but you can search by gun and light and it will list with pictures every holster that fits your particular gun..that's how I found mine

Don't know if you found it yet but I called them for my sig p320xvtac and being left handed is also a challenge the lady on the phone was spot on but if you have it shipped from them it cost more so one of there retailers can get it cheaper orderinng mine next week in dark earth coyote tan color

I carry a Sig Sauer P 320 45 ACP on duty. I use a Safariland basket weave triple retention holster 6360 it will work fine with or with out the TLR light. It runs 145 bucks maybe cheaper on ebay.

Yes it is. I think it's meant to be a seat belt guard, but I just removed it.

@@cannivus Thanks for the correction - In my opinion I don't think it would help much with retention, but I can see how it would stop someone from coming straight down on top of the holster.

It’s actually a guard for anyone trying to take your pistol. You can actually push on it towards the hood and it will not allow someone else to unlock the pistol.

Not with the stuff I linked. The 17 and 22 share the same frame size, but the 19 is a different size. Lapolicegear has a good holster finder where you can filter glock model/light combo. They have duty and regular paddle holsters.

The QLS system is compatible with any of their standard 3-hole pattern belt loops/paddles, including the most popular mid-ride UBL that he showed in the video. The QLS is a really amazing system. I’ve been using it now for about 5 years. On my duty belt, I have their QUBL. It comes with the QLS 22 receiver plate built in, but it allows you to adjust from their low, mid, and high ride positions on the fly. This is really useful in a vehicle. You can pull the release lever, and the holster will push up when you sit down. When you exit the vehicle, gravity will take it all the way down to the low ride position. I personally keep mine in the mid ride when on foot, but having that instant adjustability is really nice. Even if the lever is unlocked, you still don’t loose any weapon retention.
