Mother lions are strong and tough, but so loving and gentle with their babies. The interaction between mama lions and their cubs is awesome. Great video. Thank you for posting.

Such beautiful babies! The faces are absolutely gorgeous. I hope that they remain safe and healthy. The size of their paws really indicate how big they will eventually be. Thanks for posting this segment James, I watched the drive and it was wonderful to see Patrick enjoy these cubs before leaving. What a wild ride he had- from cubs killed to these new lives! Have seen several big cat moms guiding their cubs to the car. Especially leopards. That is the advantage of private game reserves such as Djuma where the animals always come across the same vehicles because it's a traffic restricted area.

2011ACVVV You ll never get this opportunity here in Malaysia , despite being the home of several types of magnificent big cats , like the tiger . They are closer to us than most people realize but rarely allow themselves to be seen . Some years back , residents of a row of houses bordering the jungle spotted a tigress and her cubs .
