same thing happened to me recently on my 1976 Jeep J10.. i just recently did the floorboards and the bodymount/floor support was completetly rotten on the passenger side. i got a donor cut out from an 88 Grand Wagoneer "theyre identical" and what i didnt realize was cutting out the old floor support/body mount on my J10 tweaked the cabin, the cabin bent down so when i welded it all together.. The door didnt line up at all anymore. I had to unbolt the body mount, and then jack the Jeep really high wheel off the ground on the floor support itself.. When i did that and left it there for 15 min the Jeep bent itself back and i bolted the body mount back on and the door closes normally now.. Lesson learned if you ever do floorsupports.. itll tweak the body

Good work man. Welding upside down must be tons of fun.

THANKS! This is my next project. Unfortunately, all 3 of my mount locations are shot (ART-145) vs. you using the 2 mount replacement (ART-145 2).

Those safety caps go over the original torq box that don’t get cut out?

Yes they go over the old torq box but you have to cut away the old metal around body mount so it can lay flat.
