there is a sad story regarding atlantis princess. In 2003, while she was promoting atlantis princess, her manager passed away in a car accident. She didn't perform the song for 12 years because it was just too painful, only overcoming that in 2015 at her 15th anniversary concert

BoA was my introduction to Kpop. Discovered her waaaaay way back 2002. No.1 was my favorite song from her and all her ballads are seriously good. I love her GIRLS ON TOP album. Up till this day, i still memorize Atlantis Princess and No.1 choreography. Her guerilla concert made me cry and followed her since then. There are very few groups who does guerilla these days. Stopped listening to kpop after her US debut. Her older songs defined my childhood. Aaaahhh this reminds me of all the trouble from downloading from torrent just to have all her songs on my mp3 player and burn on CDs for homeplay... Back then when it's soooooo hard to find good quality mp3s and kpop isn't big at all. Good old times.

ID PEACE B was her debut song. At that time she was only 15 years old in Korean age and 13 years old in American age. Even though 20 years have passed since her debut because she debuted at a young age, she is still in her 30s.

Love that you're reacting to more BoA. Hopefully someone on your discord will recommend some of her Japanese songs to react to("Every Heart" is my favorite). In many ways, she was bigger there than in Korea. For the longest time, I thought she was a J-pop singer.
