as someone who's been with them from the start, this comeback has me so happy. whilst some of their first few songs (particularly my turn and gas pedal) tapped too hard into the super dark, badass concept, i think their following ones (particularly party rock and groovy) were almost a little *too sweet* and sterile for me. i think this comeback, along with adrenaline and flame, taps perfectly into the balance between the two, and carries the cheeky energy over from their harder concepts to mix them with the brighter sounds from their other songs.
