If there is one thing I have learned, I learned to trust SKZ music. I love this song. It is very SKZ and very emotional. I love the aesthetic of the MV too. The ghosts of our past selves, the hope for the future with the fireflies and falling star. I love it all.

This really sounds like the ending song of an anime. I am crying. I love them and the meaning of their songs is so touching and the synopsis are so nostalgic and so touching.

the only bad thing about this video is the lack of Minho's screentime but i'm glad we can still appreciate his beautiful vocals, especially on the bridge
@Carpa21033 жыл бұрын
It's almost like it's one purpose. It's like *choreo shots* and then Minho starts singing so they switch to other member's faces. At least he has more lines unlike God's Menu where he had neither
@isalvim3 жыл бұрын
@@Carpa2103 right! it made me so mad and he's the main dancer too.. i'm sure he was killing the choreo on his parts

Genuine, sincere and brotherhood are the words I would use to describe them as well! This is such a freaking great song.

This song hits even more when you read the lyrics. Big UFF. (On a completely separate note...did you get your NOEASY album? I'm so curious who you pulled!)

agree..this is a heartfelt song! the lyrics are beautiful, I can feel their raw emotions in every verse.. they said in an interview that this song is about the sweat, and tears (and scars) they got through their journey

Apparently this mv is related to Hellevator, the outside of the set made me think about "voices". But the Han/Felix/Hyunjin moves + clothes is wow...

Your choice of word "sincere" is just the right word for SKZ and their music. I think they are very brave human beings to show themselves to others in these candid and sincere ways and are also very lucky to have those talents to express themselves beautifully in their own music so that their sincerity can touch people more deeply. Love your reactions and sharing your insightful thoughts with us. Best wishes.

"like this and like Hellevator" Since the teasers or even before when we read some words about how Scars would have been, every stay thought of Hellevator, and yes this song is very like that. We were kinda fooled by the concept photos in which they look badass. We should know that Skz fool us half of the time, we should have learned that by now but no, since we are clowns, we are still getting fooled. Apparently the MV is connected to the skz storyline, I'd tell you how but even if I'm a stay since 2019 I still don't understand half of what's going on 💀 Fun fact: part of the instrumental is taken from the first beat in Changbin's Cypher and his and Hyunjin's flow is from that too, same for the lyrics (even if slightly changed) but in Japanese. So not only Cypher contains a part of Maze of Memories instrumental but also part of Scars. Who knows, maybe a future track as well. I want to wait for the full choreo to say it definitively but this might be my favourite by them. Until now my favourite was Levanter and these choreos both have in common the fact that they reference past choreos and one of the choreos that Scars had parallels with is exactly Levanter. Not related to this but yesterday a stay on twitter had a fun take on the ongoing fan war between stays and atinys (don't worry I don't want to bring fanwars in you comments, I just find this take really funny and not harmful to anyone, and I also stan both groups). The tweet said that it's ironic how there's this huge fanwar between a fandom of a group who has a pirate concept and a fandom of a group who has a lost boys concept. Also another stay replied that Han's English name is even Peter so... Peter Han 🤣 and apparently Felix could be Tinkerbell lol Maybe Skz and Atz are fooling us and they are building up an hidden storyline which will come together ahaha I laughed for like half an yesterday for this, my sense of humour might be broken

So true.. when they drop bangers, it’s really head bangingly insane. And when they drop ballads/rock ballads, it really hits something where it really hurts like Voices, Levanter, Neverending Story and of course the unit song Gone Away.

if you remember the cypher that binnie dropped a while back , his and hyunjin's rap are from the first part of the cypher and some of the instrumentals as well but translated to jp . well some are saying that this is the upside down place shown in hellevator in the last scene and esp because the song talks about their "scars" on their way to get here . Sentimental and emotional skz hits different and I need a dance practice

Absolute masterpiece, no words to describe it, wasn't hard hitting but still stuck in my head like usual, they can pull of any sort of song. Emotional and hard hitting, u name it

maybe because they write songs thru experience thats why is so geniune and hit your heart so hard .you.can feel their emotions in their song.

I have a weakness for Changbin still going dead hard on sentimental songs XD I could be wrong, but it seems like, where for Korean releases, they tend to go hard after bridges where they go soft for Japanese releases? Like, the call-out part in the field in front of the white screen is very ' Domino', but then they get soft? I thoroughly enjoyed this release (and Chan's arms). And the video looks pretty simple/lower budget, but then there is the dEtAiLs?! Yeah, adore. Lots of adore.

Not necessarily, All In was a Japanese drop. But yeah, Changbin on the sentimental songs just hits hard

I needed this song and their timing couldn’t have been better. I watched the video first and something told me it was about perseverance and never giving up and relying on each other to get threw the thought times. So when I read the lyrics I cried the entire song. They pull me up when I’m down that’s the absolute truth. SKZ Stay 4 life.
