The story they were talking about when Chenle and Jisung first met is really cool. Chenle had participated in this Chinese show since he was somewhat of a child star back in China and Jisung also participated and did a dance performance i believe. They bonded in the waiting room because they had the same iPods. This was 3 or (4?) years before Chenle even joined sm and didn't know any Korean yet, so its almost like destiny lmao

The part where Jeno said to Haechan "you just messed with two people" was hilarious because Haechan wanted Jisung to put some water on Jaemin's mac book.. the thing is... it already happened to Jeno who accidentally dropped some water on Jaemin's mac book and that was the only time Jaemin and Jeno weren't in good terms! And Mark's late reaction just made it somewhat funnier. Dream is a really amazing mess, I love them so much!

This is Dream in their purest and most natural form- loud, totally random, chaotic, overdramatic, ruthless teasing, driving each other crazy and having the time of their lives. It's also full of rapid-fire inside jokes and puns which loose a LOT in translation. If you really wanted to translate this, you'd have to write a LOT more subtitle. All the units are chaotically funny (and the editors written comments along the way are priceless) but I feel like Dream especially lives in a world all their own.

3:35 so back in 2012, Jisung had performed on a Chinese show WITH Chenle. This was about 4 years before Chenle was recruited by SM for NCT Dream. Basically, their paths had crossed at one point in their past and then they met again years later in SM and debuted in the same group. It's like they were meant to be together. I know this comment is kinda useless since it isn’t fixing anything but omg I wish I could be there as some kinda interpreter bc the subs have quite a few mistakes and don’t necessarily translate the words to the closest English word so it’s missing a lot of details that make what they say even funnier 😭 also bc the dreamies are constantly talking over eachother the subs don’t include those anddd there are some cultural/language things they talk about that will take more than just subtitles to translate and explain...also whoever edits the video in korean includes some hilarious captions and some are left out unfortunately...and the dreamies also talk about some more inside fandom jokes......basically what I’m saying is that this is so much funnier that what the subs include and I know this comment truly isn’t helpful but I’m really glad you enjoyed the video despite these and I really wish there were better translations so non-korean speakers could understand how funny nct dream is 😭

@@lairreskaruzawa1793 1:44 - idk why they translated it to pet but all mark said was “jisung who was seen most cutely/affectionately by jeno” not pet.. 5:45 - recently chenle mentioned that theres this new inside joke where they just say “don’t get angry” at each other and you can hear him say this in the background lmao 6:42 - this is just me nitpicking but idk why they translated it to “they have a difference of opinion” when jisung just said “why are you guys saying different things!” its not inaccurate but like. ?? jisung didn’t speak that formally lol 9:48 - the captions mention ‘mirim’ but just in case u guys don’t know its a cooking ingredient which is why jaemin said msg and haechan started cracking up 10:17 - instead of “did you write in formal font” they were just joking and asking if he actually handwrote the letter 17:33 - idk if the subs were confusing but jeno meant this in the way like wow why would someone even look for the coupon there (implying that..jisung is dumb for looking there) 19:27 - that translates to fairy…which is why haechan was like u wouldn’t possibly call yourself this right 21:49 - while this word means to have clumsy hands it directly translates to “poop hands” and i think that is infinitely funnier 31:57 - permanent marker in korean is called “magic” which is why jaemin started singing Magic by Secret while holding the pen 32:48 - jeno said “you messed w two ppl” bc in 2018(?) he accidentally spilled water on jaemins brand new MacBook and i guess it was a sensitive topic lmao 41:13 - haechan said “wow he really looks like an idiot” and then at the very end of the video he said “perfect” there are so many more small details and word choices/slang that make everything they say a lot funnier in korean but its just hard to get the same effect in English...if I was to pick everything out I would be here for hours rip

It took me more than 1 hour per video to actually read through all the comments by the editors and figuring what the other members are saying in the background and ofc rewinding every second cause everything was so hilarious.

idk if you are interested but you should check out that 2012 Children's festival in China (I can't remember the actual name.) It was where Chen le and Jisung first met each other. Chen le was like 11 and he sang You raise me up, and Jisung, 10, was a Korean representative or something and danced Gangnam style. They said that they played together. Then maybe it's fate, but they met again in SM in 2016 and ended debuting together! True best friends indeed!!
