Villain not only doesn't disappoint but I think this is their best title track yet imo! It is definitely an incredibly weird song that took me several listens to really digest but I love that about it and I'm obsessed! It's so cool and different, but still is very Pixy as well. I'm so happy with it! The album is also beyond incredible!

I've come to the conclusion I may never get on with Pixy's title tracks but if anyone reading this feels the same please, please, please go give the rest of the album a listen, the b sides are phenominal and deserve to be heard.

Just in case no one has mentioned it, yes, this is connected to the fairy forest story, it's a time jump. They explained in the little countdown to reborn thing that they released just before the video that this is set in the future, where the fairies have been reincarnated as regular people, when suddenly they start to have nightmares and begin to remember their past lives. Which is a slick way to reinvent things, but I hope they come back to fairy forest at some point because I was extremely invested in that story 🤣. They also mention that someone is helping them behind the scenes (story wise), so that's obviously in reference to the person at the end, but who that actually is, well, who knows? Probably Ella if I had to guess, although not sure that would make sense in the next comeback if they're all together, but getting ahead of myself now 🤣

OH MY GOODNESS YES YES!!!! Sorry that I am late but that's okay, dude my reaction was pretty much like yours except I kept rewinding it and pausing it! This whole MV was so weird but so good the only problem that I had was that it was too short Ella was not there sadly (I hope she gets better) but I just want to say Lola killed me right when she got on the screen HOLY COW even though she didn't have too many lines she killed it and the Visuals are INSANE, Satbyeol was just WOW the Rapping was Amazing I am still shocked that her face looks like that but her voice is so deep (kind of like Yuqi) again just wow, Dia WENT OFF holy cow when she came on singing "She's calling me" my jaw literally dropped she looked so Stunning and her vocals were just Gorgeous, Sua this might have been her era because WOW her vocals were just STUNNING same with her Visuals and she got more lines/screen time again Wow, Dajeong WENT CRAZY on the Vocals (Also her with dark hair is everything) like on the whole album she just went CRAZY and the Visuals again STUNNING! Just everything was Amazing anyways I can't wait for you to react to more PIXY such as more Music Videos, B - Sides, Live Performances, Covers Dance Practices, Moments, and of course Ships! This song structure was so eerie and bizarre, but still has the PIXY vibe to it, that's what I love about it. They have already carved a good musical identity for themselves. Also the lore is interesting, this might be their current life (their past life was the fairy lore). The feathers, blue roses, jewels in blood is a recurring imagery that indicates this might be connected to the fairy lore. I'm curious to see how ella would be introduced in next comeback (praying for her speedy recovery).

Was waiting for your reaction to drop...was so worth it! Pixy are on just a completely different realm than anyone else imo. This song is SO MASSIVELY tied to their lore it's INSANE, I love how they do this, it really is masterful storytelling! But sonically it is different than their previous sound and I think that is on purpose. It's meant to shake us up - storytelling-wise we are in a different time, different era, hence more modern, urban sound, different than what we are used to. Lore-wise, their reincarnation and still being pursued by the witch is an AMAZING concept!! Sonically it challenges our notions about Pixy because maybe...just maybe...in the video we need to challenge our notion of whom we think Pixy are...😈

Love this comeback. idk why but even this song is so weird it still fire remind of Moonlight vibes a little bit at first. Choreo is so sick as always with Pixy. I expected something else but still love it just like when i listend Bewitched for the first time. Also i really like the MV dont censore the blood and its very in your face. LORE THEORY : So after leaving the forest and loosing the wings, the witch eventually took over of them, making probably Dajeong the '' leader '' ? She's really giving me that '' boss '' vibe. And at the end i'm sure she's the one, just look at the LIPS :D So we know she's the one who got ''bewitched'' from the witch since the start so it can happen. And here comes Ella's hiatus in story. She's the one who didn't got affected, and she's still a good Pixy. She's roaming somewhere in the city looking for the members to '' cure '' them. When Dia's singing '' She's callin me, time to wake up, don't forget i'm still right here with you '' can mean two thing. Either Ella '' talking '' to here to not forget, or she's talking about her ''good'' side. Obviously, as you pointed out they're killing themselves. So, as i said it in my review, i hope Allart will take notes and include Ella in the story in a fresh way! :)

Yes, I believe that her hiatus was creatively used, whereas she is the leader and will be in the next comeback. Their is a part in the song that it is about "not forgetting me" wherein they are talking to ella, since Ella is the leader. So, it's about new identities as pixies in the modern world somehow. That's why it's episode 1.

i believe so!! in theyre countdown talk show they mentioned how there was a person helping them in their villain arc essentially from far away and that we’ll learn who they are eventually. i think it’s reasonable to assume that it’s the person at the end and it would only make sense that it’s ella as i doubt they’d ever add a new member or that they would have a big character in the storyline that shows up majorly be a non-member of the group

I adore the song bc its a known fact that Pixy can't release bad music, but I'm not so sure about the mv and the new concept. The mv felt a little basic girl crush to me and I do hope they go back to their darker mystical style with the next comeback. But ya music-wise Villain is probably my second favorite Pixy song (the first ofcourse being Bewitched)
