What about non-FAA approved boosters? Are they checked in for free and can be taken still (not used)?

No boosters have aircraft approval. There are some folding high back boosters that can fit into the overhead bin. Or if you are taking a backless booster, it may fit under the seat in front of you. A backless booster may also fit into your checked bag.

Can you do a video on how to remove the crouch buckle to the next fit on the graco Click connect car seat? My baby is growing out of the first crouch buckle fit

You just look underneath the car seat where the crotch buckle is attached. There is a metal rectangular thing. Turn it vertical to push it up into the slot. Then go from the top of the seat and push it through the next slot. Once it's through the slot, make sure it's laying flat on the car seat.

Rear facing seat do we install without the base? Video cant see clearly
@safeintheseat5 ай бұрын
Yes, you must. Most bases do not have aircraft approval

How tight does it have to be? Should it not move more than 1in like when installed in a car?
@safeintheseat10 ай бұрын
It should be very easy to get a tight installation, airplane seat belts are much easier than the ones in most vehicles

Is the car seat installed without the base?
@AandM88 ай бұрын
@@mamakatttthat’s what I’m seeing. Without the base, the belt is threaded over the legs. You can see that in this video. With the infant car seat base, the belt is threaded through the actual base. You’d have to install the base with the belt first and then click the car seat in.
