I agree with you but newer generation motherboard allows us to push some limits instead of general limits. That's why you can perform a stress test until your screen goes black. In 15 seconds the settings will be reverted and you'll restore your old settings without any damage. After that you can set your limit around 100 lower than your danger limit and use your processor with the best performance!

dram overclocking is unnecessary, xmp/expo will do you a LOT better in terms of longevity with only a few % less performance compared to manual DRAM OC

The first profile usually contains enthusiast settings; these allow your memory to run at the rated speed advertised on the box. These settings enable only a modest overclock and are also the most stable. The second profile often contains more extreme settings that offer a much higher level of performance. So if you understand it xmp profile 1 takes your standard numbers of your ram memory while xmp profile 2 is a bit different.

7:10 setting the memory clock to 1900 MHz is stupid. It has to run in sync with the infinity fabric clocks which AMD ryzen (like any other cpu) can only run up to about 1800 MHz. Running these to speeds asynchronous will introduce a lot of latency since the RAM and I/O die are not in sync

How I fixed the blue screens. I went to bios advanced then AMD overclocking hit accept then went to precision boost overdrive and enabled cpu boost clock override ( motherboard b550a asrock gaming legend )
