Thats scary! I have the Evenflo revolve 360 and won't even let you turn it FF unless it's reclined all the way. The safety first needs to be recalled. This is extremely dangerous and could happen to anyone!

What about when it’s in rear facing mode, and your able to push up on it until the cables catch. Is that ok?

Actually it does show that it’s installed correctly, if it wasn’t installed correctly than there would be red showing where the gray latch is that is attached to the top tether
