Studying during the holidays is natural for Koreans.. This way of studying kinda applies to Koreans only.

In singapore we have to study during the holidays and go back to school for extra lessons and complete the holiday homework the school gives us. I think the studying during holidays culture is mostly seen in asian countries :-(

This is such a nice show for Sunday mornings (when I watch them). I always get surprised by the topics. For studying, it's always great to have a routine, eat and sleep well and have a leisure time. I seldom take selfies, just like Jong Kook I guess xD I overuse detergent while doing laundry. I'll change that. True hero at the end saving that child =D Awesome!

This is the difference between The U.S. and most Asian countries. In U.S. we look at more social and life skills. Then what you made in 7th grade math class. Even on another show, one of the members who is American and worked for a well for a high university admitted that all Korean applicants all looked the same. That they were looking for individuals that can bring a new light to the university. Myra that 'A' in science might be great at the moment but 20 years later all you will known about life was what was written in books not what is truly out there. It feels more like everyone follows the same path but in America we all have our own paths that we made and create that is an adventure. They won't know the feeling who living a life where you learn for the world not what is expected for you to learn. Also I don't know why they want to go to "famous" universities when most who the riches people never went to any college, went but never graduated, or didn't even graduate high school.

The main difference in the US is student are also working and learning work skills at the same time as going to high school. They are also learning finances and taking on responsibilities for their own purchasing and not depending on parents well into adulthood.

7 am is considered early? here we usually wake up at 4 or 5 am..bcz we have morning prayer n we need to get ready for school or work which starts at 7

7 on break is considered early probably cause students during the school year study until 2 in the morning. They go to school and homework, then they go to math and English lessons in private academies until 11 and then are up to do more work. It was impressive because it was on mornings they could have slept an extra couple of hours. The advice was just to keep the routine on vacations. Most the parents actually allowed for breaks like a movie or physical activity. I hope parents are paying attention.

i really don't know how they have the strenght to wake up at 7 or go to school for indipentend study in my holiday when during their school year they pass all day in school , must be frustrating ..... like i study architecture in university (and i also use a lot of my time studing) but i also menage to have some free time to empty my head a little and even sleep more to be less stressed ... but all those "wake up at 7 and listen an english tape" (it actually sound like a torture) like i would get so much stressed that i would be more mad about it than rather concentrate on my study.... like they ALL sound like they live to study when you study to find a job so that you get the money to use in what you like ... i see to many people ,even where i live, that live to work instead of work to live

Studying is very important as I know all too well how I felt during my school days taking several test while suffering from massive headaches, however social & life skills are also equally as important. Life is suppose to be an adventure, without it you just become solely about reaching your profession, which could potentially rob you of happiness in the long run because it's all you focused on during teenage & young adult years and not having a life. Have to learn to balance the two out as it'll help you feel better and not so stressed out and moody all the time. I liked the mysterious adventure bit about things that may threaten our daily lives with Dal Shabet & UP10TION very informative, but editing could've been a tad bit better for some of those scenes.
