Hello Friends!
I made a hand push block to use the table saw safely.
Tools should be used safely.
It is more stable than stick-type jigs, so it is easy to handle and protects you from accidents.
A versatile jig that can be used not only for table saws but also for electric planes and table routers.

Not only practical, but classy-looking as well! Watching you create this tool, I am struck by how carefully all of the various tools, jigs and clamps in your shop are created. It is a pleasure to see your various tool and jig projects being used so effectively. You are an inspiration.

It's "OVER ENGINEERED" because it's not meant to be just a quick tool just for his shop; but a production piece of equipment to sell to others and make a living. You put QUALITY into something like that.

@@jerichojoe307 lol why are you getting mad at that person stating a fact? Lol this is over engineered. And if it is to feature its elegance by dressing it up, than all this thing is doing is showing people how to put lipstick on a PIG lol…. That’s basically the same concept People will find this build extremely well Made but cmon lol…. All that engineering is useless for the regular Joe who only care about making a push block that functions like the gripper lol 😂

I think he wants it to work *Really good,* and then feel good in the hand while using it. I don’t think it’s over-engineered in the slightest. I’m hoping to get his plans sometime in the near future, and then make a few for myself and as gifts. A pair of full-on “Grr-ripper kits” is pushing 300 “Lower Barbarian Ducats” in these parts, which is an awful lot for someone on a fixed stipend.

Love the design and to see some ideas I may add to my 6x8' workspace...yeah, that small. I appreciate your use of a small (Proxon?) saw--I recently started using a similar saw. You are absolutely right: safety first, I learned this, again, when I tried to teach my wife to use the little table saw. I may have to adjust the tools, but I want to push her to try again--that's how we learn!

Hey I’ve been thinking (everybody say uh-oh), if you added some threaded inserts in one side of your push block, it would be easy to mount narrow pusher pieces to safely cut thin rips off of stock. The pusher pieces would just need to be thicker at the top, where they screw on, to allow adequate clearance for the saw blade.

I'm starting out as a hobbyist and I wanted your advice on which saw to buy. Do you think I should invest in a good hand saw and use it with the jigs you show in your videos or purchase the bench saw that weighs more in the budget? Thanks a lot
