"Special education" - meaning resource class. Now maybe we were slow to learn some things, but my gosh, how this talks down to resource-class kids. For example, we DIDN'T need people holding up fingers saying "And this is tip 3". Shoosh. "An - ti - cep - tic"?! And that paint wasn't the kid's fault, since he couldn't see the sign. Off soapbox bow.

The description of the video points out, this was intended for training deaf children how to read lips. That's why it seems over-simplified and slow.

I’m a former special ed kid and many teachers treated me like I was less than, but this film was not made for resource kids, it was made for kids who were hearing impaired, as stated in the description.
