My Awl
I can’t live without my sharp stabby tool as I call it, used for making holes for my snaps. Many Kam snap kits come with one if not any leather awl will do the job.

Stabilizers
Stabilizers the three that I use for my stitch outs are Brothread wash away, Brothread cut away and Brothread invisible mesh.
I don't use tear away except for planning out my fabrics in a crazy patch project, as it tends to fail when there is satin stitching in the design.

Truer words never spoken. I have 2 puncture wounds healing on my index finger. I decided I needed to straighten fabric with my finger instead of a stiletto. My machine was going at 1050 stitches per minute. I found out the hard way how fast that is. Straight through the nail bed and out the other side twice before i could reclaim my finger. I also found out how much a finger can bleed.

I have been admiring your plastic fabric holder. What is it? I have been using a orange wood cuticle stick. But the flat plastic looks longer and more useful.
