Jeff Gutt sings a version similar to this that I thought was as good as Buckley and probably better. This band takes Jeff's arrangement and burns the roof down with it. My new fav over Buckley, kid Lang, wainwright and even Jeff Gutt's. the guitar is sick and vocals and arrangement are unmatched! SafetySuit fan.

I would highly recommend the Allison Kraus version, my personal favorite FEMALE tho I love SafetySuit and are now my favorite MALE version, especially as my husband was a phenomenal guitar player and builder. There is a Veteran’s version by “Sailor Jerri” here on KZbin. kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6S8gZWge6hoZtk She rewrote it for those of us who served, so it is incredibly gratifying to be honored if you are or know a Vet...or are an American! This would be a nice direction for this band to go into. I like the changes they made to this song. It's honestly brilliant how they changed this song to the point of me actually really liking it. As for the direction in their last two singles I'm doubting this band a lot now. I don't know if they're making the right choices for the band or if they think they're being hip by adding poppy garbage into their music. It sounds like they didn't even try to make it sound good, but instead just threw it in t here, because the record label told them too. I feel like this is some desperate attempt to stay on the label. Won't even mention my feelings towards the band ignoring and zoning out fans for a year.
