In this latest episode, Nic and the crew venture to the beautiful coast of Safi, Morocco, chasing after its famous right-hand barrels, a true highlight in the world of surfing.
As the crew chases the perfect wave, everyone is swept up in the hospitality and warmth of the local people, the rich flavors of Moroccan cuisine, and the sights and sounds of this ancient place.
Despite a few travel hiccups and the unpredictable nature of the ocean, the crew ends up catching some unreal waves, making for an absolutely epic time.

Great waves and once again great footage. I am compelled to remark and the DROP INS!!!!!!. Only two reasons people drop in, One their are just A-holes, Two if the same surfers keep paddling out after they just caught set and not sharing well the A-hole are those whom are hogging the sets in which they deserve to be dropped in on. That said with out the complete footage or the unedited version the truth of the drop ins only the people there at that time know the truth.

Absolutely. The internet totally blew up their spot! It wasn’t well known worldwide at all 20 years ago. Was still a semi secret spot maybe 15?years ago. Now there’s a live cam on it 24/7. And pros and the likes travel the world to score it every time it turns on. And it doesn’t break properly that often. That would do your head in if you grew up there and frothed every swell, then all of a sudden, boom. The locals can’t get any waves without dropping in. They used to be hard to get a wave off back In the day the local boogs. They get zero respect now, so whaddya expect? Just another spot that the internet and pro surfing has kinda ruined tbh..

while it's not good and i don't encourage it, being a local there means dealing each pumping day with all semi-pro and pros surfers from Europe and north Morocco that come in groups to invade the lineup and set at the inside, not only they get the bombs but also share the clips on social media, so the spot gets even more crowded each swell, so i understand why they drop in on people, think of Mundaka for instance locals there are gnarly and you won't just come along and invade the spot even as a pro!

I can understand the frustration of the locals, and some regulation is necessary in crowded heavy waves like this, but these kamikaze bodyboarders are just too much 🤣 Why would you put yourself and other people in danger like that, just so no one gets to ride the wave properly? Insane. If you're a true local at a spot, and grew up surfing or bodyboarding it, you should know where to be and have no problem getting a good setwave imo.

Been traveling Morocco quite a few times my dear (my ex partner is half Moroccan half Somali to be precise). Except among the Berbers in the dessert ... good luck seeing all those colors being a woman ... for example if you can't even check into a hotel room with anyone else but your brother, father or husband when traveling and unfortunate enough to not have a foreign passport. Or does Mr. well informed want to say that isn't true?
