Yes, a tough game for you Gra, especially once I encamped in the field, it made it very hard for you. I was careless losing my Hearthguard, but other than that I was always in the driving seat. I expect you will get your revenge soon. In fact you did, on Friday playing M&T. 😁

Thanks for another great vid, I dont have AOA as yet but initial thoughts are buy Persians. Maybe it is a good idea not to use fatigue on the Persian bows, risk the shots and hope to get into combat with a few fatigues on them.

Historically the Persians recruited large numbers of Hoplites I think. I don't have the book but maybe recruit more psiloi or peltasts to neuter the shooting block and press on the other troops? Watch Alex channel too. Great to get normal club player games to watch. Thanks.

Thx for viewing. Honestly believe playing a scenario is the way forward, or use mercs that are good in terrain. There are 2 options for Persians, early ie Medes which I have or the later one which has the hoplite option. They can also have scythed chariots, ele’s, but as a Persian would always choose Medes.
