Saga Dawa Duchen ritual - Buddha bath for purification

The holiest day of the Saga Dawa month, when he remember Buddha's birth, enlightenment and mahaparinirvana! We celebrate with a purification bath on a Buddha statue, offering water and also the recitation of Vajravidya (Vajravidarana) dharani and sutra.
May this action cleanses our minds!

Lama Konchok Sonam took his ordination vows near his hometown in south Lhasa, Tibet within the Drikung Kagyu lineage. He currently lives in Danvers, in the Boston area, United States, where he is the Spiritual Director of Drikung Meditation Center.
