What I wouldn't give to visit Takeo Library... Every picture or video I've seen is just so beautiful. Saga may rank very low on the official prefectural beauty scale, but it's been a place I've been dreaming of visiting for years.

Saga is underrated but it's okay. They're left alone from the over-tourism and you don't have to compete with other visitors. Hope you get to visit Saga in the near future!

I’ve been wanting to visit saga ever since I heard that Ureshino is one of Japan’s top 3 beauty onsens. I find myself going to other parts of Japan instead. Would really wish to visit here.

I have never heard of Ureshino, I have to look it up. Thanks for the tip! There are so many cool cities/towns in Japan. I have lists of places I haven't been able to visit but would like to someday.

@@tabi_ku_travel Japan has many top 3 list for things. If someplace claims to be good for xxx, there would be another 2 such places. For example, onsen for gastrointestinal diseases are Yunohira, Gaga, and Sekizenkan.

Thank you! We visited there at the end of July. Sadly, Saga is underrated. They don't get many tourists compared to Fukuoka or Nagasaki. It's a lovely Prefecture. Highly recommended!

I don't live in Saga, so I'm not sure. However, I did a quick Google search in Japanese. It looks like Saga Prefecture is the only prefecture in Kyushu without a mosque.
