As Tibetans worldwide celebrate Sagadawa-Vesak, which marks the birth of Lord Buddha, stark contrasts emerge between Tibetans inside and outside the region. While the Chinese government views Sagadawa-Vesak as a politically sensitive time, tightening security and control, Tibetans in the diaspora openly embrace this sacred occasion. Kunleng invites experts to discuss how Sagadawa-Vesak has evolved into a global peace initiative and day of social service.
