it's criminal how underrecognized this show has been. Vera should have gotten an award sometime between seasons 1-4, and Freddie undoubtedly should be recognized for this last season.

That's the sad thing if you're not that top Celeb who has over 50M followers on Social Media you'll never get the recognition you deserve no matter how good you are at your job . It's so annoying .

worth mentioning : Romeros acting was incredible. his heartbrake over finding Norma dead was VERY believable. Norma was amazing as well, as was Normans scene where he was driving Norma back home with flash backs. amazing stuff.

I love how Nestor and Freddie still pick at each other. Almost like how their characters don't like each other.

God I can't believe Bates Motel is over. It was the best tv show I've ever seen and I'm so in love with all the brilliant, amazing and talented cast. Vera, Nestor and Freddie are so lovely and wonderful. It will be incredible to see them reunite one day in another show or movie. God I'm already missing them.

Didn't know much about these people before this, remembered Nestor from Lost, saw Vera in Orphan, although, didn't connect that is was the same person. Love when Vera asked Nestor about the John Goodman name, was hysterical, whispering in his ear like an old married couple. Really loved the Normero coupling, they didn't get enough time together tho. I just really loved this show and I am really gonna miss it. I think it could have went another season.

Great. I'm very sad it's all over - but what a rollicking good time it was. These guys! Who doesn't want to marry Vera Farmiga?

I think Vera is so right. All of the characters, were charming in a mysterious untold way yet, were all dealing with dark issues of mental illness, inner turmoil, crime etc. But still all of the characters, were so lovable and you wanted to know them and even be involved with their lives and issues.

Freddie Highmore did Anthony Perkins proud.
@carysmichael87797 жыл бұрын
Xehanort10 Most definitely although I gotta say Freddies take on Norman personally felt more sinister (even though it isn't) than Anthony Perkins who let's be honest just seemed like a mamas boy so I'm glad they quashed that theory that no its not necessarily the case he has a genuine neurological condition.

23:41 a very honest advice to young kid actors, Freddie is such a humble and honest person, with right values and priority, I think that has a lot to do with upbringing.

Freddie has become more calmer and into deep thoughts more often as he ages. I remember I watched some of his interviews that took place when the series was in the first couple seasons. He was a lot more lively and bubbly. He used to chuckle a lot. He now seems to have become more than reasonably reserved, so to speak. Is it a good thing? Still excellent actor tho.
@islarylie71565 жыл бұрын
dvdgalutube He thinks more before he speaks as he aged and tries to answer as well as he could. It’s a good thing, especially when you’re not on social media. The fans really have very little knowledge of how Freddie is as a person after his shows end. They want to understand the actor’s worldview outside the characters they play, how they groove and how they are perceived by their fellow actors. He also doesn’t waste our time trying to make sense of what he’s trying to convey. He corrects misunderstanding on the spot and at times when he is cut off or gets distracted, he tries to bring his fellow actors back to the topic and quickly gets back to his train of thought.

I would say the original psycho movie is more of a psychological thriller than a comedy or a horror film.

My poor Vera and her memory xD I love how free and reflexive is her speech. She is so natural and passionate, and just like she said, that's one of the reasons so many people love her or like her. And I do not know if it's acting, but the rivalry between Freddie and Nestor seems out of screen. Even Vera, between laughs, seems uncomfortable at some point (to me)
@falconcitamonster7 жыл бұрын
I read an interview with Freddie few days ago where he talks about Nestor, this is the way they are, they are joking all the time, he said he's best friend and he loves him, yes , he said :"love", what a cutie. Also he wished people could see the "behind camera" when they where shooting together. They are hilarious.
@CinthiaAguilar87 жыл бұрын
Well, I saw things Nestor publish on twitter and it seems they have a great relation. But in real life things can be different. But at the end of the day, only they know. We just speculate.
@lillycandyrose7 жыл бұрын
It's banter and Freddie being British, which is where banter comes from, just increases it. They're having fun and teasing each other purposefully in almost a brotherly way.

Hmmmm I was shocked about Nestor's revelation about the ending of the series that it should him to put an end to Norman's life but it suddenly changed because Freddie stayed in the writer's room for a long time as obviously he wrote the episode. Awwww 🥺😭 But I guess the ending for me was still quite good atleast norma and alex would probably get the chance to be together again. 😭❤
