From filmmaker Spike Lee comes the true story of an American hero. It’s the early 1970s, and Ron Stallworth (John David Washington) is the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to make a name for himself, Stallworth bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. The young detective soon recruits a more seasoned colleague, Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver), into the undercover investigation of a lifetime. Together, they team up to take down the extremist hate group as the organization aims to sanitize its violent rhetoric to appeal to the mainstream. The film also stars Laura Harrier and Topher Grace as David Duke.

Not to brush off the other amazingly talented people on stage with the (also AMAZING) moderator, but I noticed how the audience and everyone in the room really seem to be captivated with Adam Driver and whatever he ever says, and I think that’s amazing because he really should be appreciated more for his craft… he really is one of the best actors of his generation.

Thanks for the upload! Great movie. Love JD, Adam and Ron. Trying not to get too distracted by Adam's muscles, which he is always trying to hide under his seemingly endless supply of dark, oversized shirts. Ron is a very great gentleman. A good storyteller, too.

@@abdulhouser He actually is, he stopped watching movies he's in cause he gets frustrated with his performance and wants to change it but can't. He has low self esteem and is probably a perfectionist

@@abdulhouser He didn't hate it, he just doesn't like watching himself. But given the nature of Blackkklansman's messaging, particularly regarding the part they were discussing, it probably wouldn't have been a good look for him to be like "Yeah, guys, I totally didn't watch this important movie that speaks to today's ugly societal truths".

Hmmm, I wonder if a clause in Stallworth’s employment contract or a statute of limitations expired 2013. There must be some penalty for taking official case records without approval.
