I just (2024) worked with him in a couple of scenes for Landman . Had a few laughs and fun to watch him work. Been a fan of his films since a kid in the 90’s. Glad this finally popped up years later. Thanks!

I have to say, I won’t mention names, but I have seen some actors who are amazing on screen, but are sooo boring or hard to listen to being themselves, but THIS man, wow! Both a phenomenal actor and seems like a fun human being, that you could sit and talk to/listen to for days. One of THE BEST, BRAVO! ☺️🌹👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Billy seems to be a real type cat.good to see from a celeb.
@alwaysopen79704 жыл бұрын
He's not a true celebrity, which is why you see him in that vein. Celebrities are assholes, for the most part. When they start to expect, believe and take for granted the accolades, they stray from what Billy Bob displayed here. You witnessed a regular guy speak of his memories and experiences of what he does as well as how he got to the point he is now. You may very well know people with the same qualities in your life but the celebrity aspect here made your ears prick up. Everyone has a story worth listening to if you take the time to listen. Everyone.

Yes, so did I! I had the pleasure of speaking to him, and I even got to take a picture with him!! I remember, I was trying to take a picture with him, and I was to nervous to take the photo with him and I in the picture. Then he actually took the time, to try and figure out my phone so that he could take the picture. Well, so Billy Bob Thornton took the picture of him and I. It was one of the greatest moments of my life, that I got to meet one of my favorite actors of all time. He was so nice and humble, I was so surprised at how nice he was to me, considering he’s an Academy Award Winning Hollywood Actor. I got to meet him, during his tour with the Box Masters. His acting is incredible and music is awesome.

Despite being incorrectly nominated as a lead actor at the Emmys, Fargo is my favorite Billy Bob role of all time (playing the role his "Man Who Wasn't There" co-star James Gandolfini might have been cast in if he'd gotten his weight down to 240). But we'll never know because he died of a heart attack too early on. Several other actors were also considered for the role before Billy Bob ended up being cast a month or two later.

Enterviewer didn't mention the movie he did called "Leaving Reno".. I thought it was a good and funny movie... I have been to the filming locations for Sling Blade, the barber shop is no longer in business, laundry mat hasn't changed at all..Frank Wheatley's house is also still there, but has new vinyl siding installed but the porch looks the same... The is all in Benton Arkansas.
