Definitely on of the best interviews I've watched for the casts and director, really dig deep into the details and behind the screen challenges. I have a whole new level of respect for actors and film makers now. Also, from her answers its clear that Alice is so understanding and accommodating, really helping the actors to perform their best. Amazing work!

Wow!!! What a great Q&A!! All the BTS tidbits for actors. Audience do NOT know all the trials & tribulations that you all go through, all the hard work. All we see is the tip of the iceberg of success. Bravo!!! 👏❤️🎭

What a great interview! I loved this film, which was incredibly nuanced and respectful of each of Ellie’s, Aster’s and Daniel’s journey through friendships, relationships, understandings and real love for each other. Alice Wu and her production team did a great job in enabling all the emotions to shine through at the right times and the retrospective images and thoughts were out of this world. Also struck by the philosophical references too, which framed the Cyrano de Bergerac role play. Phew, I have to go lie down now...🍍🦉🐛🐬

Fell into this movie by accident and was pleasantly surprised. I loved how smooth the narrative flowed without being stereotypical- I like where this didn’t have to be Asian starred- and she connected with anyone, everyone and delivered emotionally.

The part where Alice talks about the first shot of Ellie as opposed to the last one just blew me away. I'll get over just how purely intentional every shot and every line in this movie really are. The part she also emphasises on the importance of the last shot and how it makes the whole movie had me in awe. Alice's methods in building relationships between her actors and just invoking emotions Leah for the last scene because of what Daniel said, had me in tears are just wow. I literally got emotional when they got emotional. This woman is truly a gift in the modern generation of directors, just I mean, wow 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. THE HALF OF IT IS GETTING ITS SIXTH FROM ME PRETTY SOON💕💕💕💕

Yeah at the first shot of Ellie we see parts of her. Hand /foot and she doesn't show up until a couple of minutes into the film and the lest scene we see her as a whole and focus on every part of her which shows she embraced herself
