Mindset is SO important!! I refuse to get ‘old and sick’. I used to joke to everyone that I’m going to live past 100, and at this point I really believe it!

I squat too! A lot! But I am a bit stiffer than being younger. That's of course is natural. Black pepper is great! Many great points, Saga! 👍👍👍♥️🌹

in what ways to you consume the turmeric+pepper? I try to have it but I struggle to find ways to eat it daily, (not drinking it, I find most of the spice just sticks to my glass)
@SagaJohanna2 жыл бұрын
I normally drink it but mix it first. Or turmeric latte or tofu scramble ! :) or even curries!
@MirkkGoffe2 жыл бұрын
If you eat eggs (no factory farming, go local free range ofc) then scrambled or omelette is a perfect choice. But otherwise just gulp it down or be fancy with capsules 😇

@@MirkkGoffe yea that's a good idea, like sprinkles over it. I actually used to do that, good reminder

1:29, would you recommend the whole coconut fruit it self then instead of any byproduct from it?
@SagaJohanna Жыл бұрын
No, because of the high fat content coconut is one of the few whole fruits that might be better avoided

I wonder what your take on salt lamps is. Nice ambiance created but they also collect dust!!
@SagaJohanna2 жыл бұрын
I have never really gotten around to using them since they are quite expensive. But I think they are beautiful! I am actually planning to have one in our van for the ambiance. And yes, dust is an ever-continuing problem haha. I try to wipe down most things at home once a week!

Hi Saga! If you'd like to know more about intermittent fasting, the channel of dr. Eric Berg explains it really well with all the latest findings. I myself am trying to get to the 18/19 hours at least, because that's when the process of autophagy sets in, which is basically the body getting rid of all the clutter :) Also the longer you fast the more growth hormone your body makes (renewing of cells). By the way, it's a misconception that the fatty acids in coconut oil are bad for the arteries. Those saturated fats are different from other kinds. In addition, coconut oil contains compounds which boost the immune system and are anti-septic.
@SagaJohanna2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately coconut oil remains unhealthy according to evidence. All oils do, including olive oil. I’d recommend nutrition facts.org or going straight to the source :)

@@SagaJohanna Thanks :) I hope you'll find it interesting, he discusses research data on a wide range of topics, not just fasting

Please use reasoning instead of judgement!
@jaumepp1975 Жыл бұрын
I have not judged you, and I have barely used much reasoning skills, I've just stated what we know after 50-100 years of serious study of Psychiatry. Not my word: science. Nothong happens if you're wrong, you're not a Psychiatrist, you don't have to know these things, I do, and it's constructive that I tell you you're wrong regarding some things. Best wishes.
@SagaJohanna Жыл бұрын
@@jaumepp1975 Saying "you're wrong" is not reasoning or stating what you know, it is a belief. Please send a link to a study if you want to discuss it! :)

@@SagaJohanna It's impossible to discuss 50-100 years of serious research in 10 minutes, much les through here. I'm only stating what serious books say, what serious research says. But if you want to try another method (videochat or whatever) we can try, but impossible in a few words. Besides, and I can't send a link, because what has to be discussed is 100 things at the same time, and serious investigation tend not to be transversal enough to give the info we need for such conversation, that's why, in order to make a good and solid point, conversation has to be long, and many sources has to be mentioned. Best wishes, my lovely new online friend, if you're up to that, or if you have any other suggestion, please don't hesitate to mention. Cheers, and I hope you're doing very well these days!
