Suzuki's legendary motorcycle, the Hayabusa, finally makes its highly awaited comeback in BS6 trim. Loaded to the T with electronics that even put their flagship superbike, the GSXR1000R to shame, the new busa though makes less power and torque than its predecessor. So with ludicrous speed no longer its focus, the million dollar question now is whether the new busa is a Hayabusa at all! Sarge hops on to find out.

The Suzuki hayabusa was always a great legend in the Super bike segment. It had its own uniqueness compared to the others. Even though its big it's one of the friendly Super bikes for everyday usage. The performance is great,Yes it has lost little power and torque but the hayabusa gained a lot in terms of features, electronic aids. It's still one of greatest, fastest bikes.😍😍😍 the legend always will be a legend. Its nice to see mr sagar sheldekar again on the legendary hayabusa. The the review was great,the riding Short's were awesome👍👍.

Great review, extremely comprehensive and accurate in all areas, including the criticisms. Can't imagine riding a Busa on Indian roads - hats off to you guys. I would only add that they could have fixed that deadly sidestand, same one as on the Gen 1 and Gen 2 - has a habit of rolling off and falling over if not in gear or on a flat surface. Its a nuisance and such a simple thing to fix.

Hayabusa was Hayabusa because it was kind of raw.. The feeling of riding a pure motorcycle without all that smart stuff is different and which this third gen can't match...Yet Busa wasn't a motorcycle that can't be managed, especially with those 3 riding modes it had. I toured all over India on gen 2 and never felt any need of any modern electronics !! and getting to hear that this bike is having a tank range of 250-260 KMs makes it a less favoured tourer... my gen2 gave me a range of around 380-400KMs ( i.e. 18-20KMPL) on touring speeds .. Although it was a need of time as new young buyers focus on more geeky stuff rather than the pure pleasure of riding which they are unaware of mostly and understandably so.. At last it comes to personal choices , for me gen1 and 2 were real Hayabusa's. Like Fireblade was Fireblade because it was a Raw bike, and all electronics stuff slowly made that bike fade away I fear same thing would happen to this bike as well! as now it has lost its unique identity and entered the territory where many options are there! .. With the price hike and all the changes I really don't think this gen3 is worth the money but at last, biking is from heart and is a very subjective matter. So my all wishes to Suzuki and new owners, hope you guys enjoy the bike. Ride hard, Ride safe.
