@@jiero3253 sage mode also varies with the user, their efficiency in gathering nature energy, and the actual jutsus they use. Pain arc Naruto was a sage and so was Hashirama when fighting Alive Madara with EMS and Kurama, but Sage Naruto is not Kage level but Hashirama is High Kage level. Naruto aso becomes more powerful with Sage mode as he progresses and he can use more Rasenshuriken and maintain it longer than when he was fighting Pain. So Sage Mode depends on the user while MS is not like that. Sage mode users can become more powerful over time while MS users go blind if they try to attain their full potenial by using Susanoo.

@@meliotachi if it's an argument of what's the better power. While MS abilities can vary and can be really powerful, it's more of a resource in battle rather than a tool like sage mode is. The stronger your MS is the less you'll be able to use it in future. But you're forgetting how much of a learning curve sage mode has. While I agree sage mode is a better power up long term both stat wise and longevity wise. The average ninja ain't getting it unlike the average Uchiha who just needs to suffer enough which happens a lot in Naruto. I thought this was a four vs four 😅

@@jiero3253 I agree there were a lot of Uchihas', but the actual number of them who awakened MS is very, very low. An average Uchiha takes a long time to even awaken the 1 tomoe Sharingan nonetheless MS. Also, we are not talking about average Ninjas here, no. They are elite Ninjas with High Jonin to High Kage level ninjas since MS abilities are usually broken and Sage users are a minimum Jonin level. But the thing that holds back MS from Sage Mode is its drawbacks. Sage mode has no drawbacks once you actually learn it and do not become a statue in the process. But MS ain't like that. Once you awaken it, without EMS it has a very limited usage potential (unless you are Obito and can spam Kamui without any consequences). Kakashi for example started to go blind with 7 to 8 uses of his MS and it is a very low number of useage, But Sage Mode on the other hand, the more you use it, the more efficient and longer the mode lasts.

I think this video demonstrates the underwhelming nature of sage mode and the bias Kishimoto had towards the Uchiha. The truth is that sage mode did not utilize nature chakra to its greatest extent, and the sage mode users were almost all deficient in genjutsu. Advanced sage mode users should have been able to turn nature energy into an avatar similar to Hashirama's golem or Thousand Armed Buddha. Sage mode users should have also been able to control nature energy from a distance, being able to land invisible attacks and manipulate it to alter the atmosphere. Sage mode should be as broken as EMS when a sage has incredible control of the form.

I’m really underwhelmed by Sasuke’s EMS abilities. I mean, he couldve just been given Kagutsuchi on one eye and then another hax on the other one. Both his eyes having basically the same ability is insane given that we have something like Kotoamatsukami, Kamui, and Tsukuyomi.

Give Sasuke any other abilities on this list, and he might very well wipe the kage out in the kage summit. Or at least be a much more feasible threat, maybe even take on out. Kotoamatsukami? Tsukuyomi, essentially an unstoppable one-tap? And I ain't talking about amaterasu "one-tap"? Anyone who gets hit by it is out of commission. Also, kind of a shame noone else ever really uses that ability in battle. Kamui? Either version will cause utter havoc. I think he's perfectly fine the way he is. Just show him ACTUALLY defeating someone with amaterasu for once, other than killer Bee.

If we're just looking at stat increases sage mode definitely has an edge, as its basically just an extremely large boost to every single one of your stats which includes your jutsu. If we're talking abilities granted, obviously mangekyo Sharingan is taking it especially if you're looking at the high er tier of the abilities granted And obviously Susano In terms of Sage of six paths and rinnegan, pretty much the same idea except this time sage of six paths has truth seeker orbs that nullify all jutsu and basically one shot anything it touches while rinnegan gets the 6 paths abilities and whatever broken extra Kishimoto writes for it lol

honestly I'd take sage mode over mangekyo, the Mangekyo is a bit easier to get compared to sage mode but most of the time is it really worth it? to risk seeing someone you care about in danger on top of that it doesn't matter how much you use it you'll go blind eventually itachi wasn't known for spamming his but he was still losing eye sight it just took much longer compared to sasuke who spammed it in the spam of like what a month maybe even less yet was going blind. Sage mode doesn't have that weakness you can use it as much as you want so long as your careful of your chakra level on top of that all of your ability's is enhanced your speed your defense and attack and another thing that was skipped over is that sage mode can actually heal you when Naruto ran out of chakra during his fight with pain all he needed to do was summon a clone who had sage chakra inside of it then collect said chakra and he went from being exhausted to being completely fine The mangekyou grants you niffty ability's but their limited sage mode isn't as limited not to mention that if your opponent is faster than the eye can see then most of these ability's are irrelevant like how amatarasu was useless against Ay because he was too fast so sasuke had to resort to a more defensive method not realizing Ay could have just waited him out if he wasn't so quick to anger

MS for close combat range and deception and fast action, Sage modes for tactical prowess. Combine those two, you kinda get broken APs like Obito and Madara with heal AMP. MS drains charka like no other, sage mode can replenish it like no other - those Hashirama cells were definitely using that nature energy.

That is not even a fight though? So6P naruto was basically manhandling 1 rinnegan 10-TAILS Madara, who was the strongest person we ever saw actually using rinnegan abilities at all. Not to mentionnormal sage mode naruto was at least comparable to the six paths of pain, and if he had unlimited sage mode likely would have one with the exception of chibaku tensei. And So6P sage mode is orders of magnitudes stronger than standard sage mode.

Naruto on the other hand was able to perceive Ay senior's attack and even counterattack the ability's also vary Kabuto's sage mode near completely shut down both sasuke and itachi's genjustu ability's with only one being usable at the time that's something only his version can do

Where I see sage mode take an edge over Ms is in two 2 aspects for one the element of surprise like fighting with natural energy is something most ninja in the world wouldn't have an answer for because you are essentially using an form of energy that's unfamiliar to most people it would be like a normal person trying to feel like what would having a sixth sense feels like can't really do that can you and second the ridiculous sensory perception that sage mode gives like Madara absorbed sage energy from hashirama and he quite literally dodged any attack Sasuke threw at him despite being completely BLIND and also it's how you get sage mode sure its a LOT harder to obtain sage mode compared to the Ms because most people don't even have the required chakra to handle sage mode but if you master it which again is really difficult in all fairness then as long as you have a way to constantly funnel in nature energy it's essentially an infinite power up like what's to stop you from creating 50 shadow clones and have them gather natural energy while you fight realistically there are no drawbacks to sage mode accept of the fact that it's really really really difficult to learn it sure the Ms can be acquired easier the sage mode but after a few uses you'll go blind and your sharingan in general Is rendered obselete while a sage user doesn't even need their eyes to fight as was seen with Madara and kabuto

You don’t necessarily need all 9 bijuus chakra as the Sage gave Naruto his Sage mode and gave Sasuke his Rinnegan via transferring his six paths power..Sasuke had six paths power without any bijuu chakra and manifested a Rinnegan Six paths Sage mode was Hagoromos own power but a Juubi jinchuriki would also gain six paths Sage mode and six paths power by having the body and chakra of the Juubi Naruto did not have the body or the chakra of the Juubi yet he had six paths Sage mode and six paths power

the chakra toll for Kamui seems to be a lot lighter than Amaterasu/Tsukoyomi/Kagotsuchi. I mean Kakashi the non-Uchiha, without any Senju DNA, was able to use Kamui for sometime before showing any signs of blindness
