Would you all want to see the figure 8 Disbudding method on video? I have to disbud one of the little boys soon!

Yes please. Love goat content! Still looking for some near me but Until then I watch videos and research. Neighbor still wants me to take some of their cows or sheep but I’m waiting until I know I can’t find some goat friends. ❤😊

I have her sister in my herd from last season's kidding! They look a lot alike but Boba is definitely more white and gray and this girl is more cream and brown. She's a stunner. I'm hoping Havoc (our buck) lays spots on some mini lamacha when we breed for those, because I'll definitely be keeping mini Mancha with spots!! Gotta keep space in the barn to prepare for that. 😍

Great video. I Love that you showed more of 'after' they are born...getting dry / bonding with mom / and most important Nursing. (once they are 'latched on, we know all is well!) There are so many birthing videos, I have seen hundreds.... and a video of 80 percent of labor / and only 10-20 % of the babies is not fun. (I watch to see the babies) > Beautiful kids! Hey...the Music is not needed. (or maybe turn down) It's hard to hear you when you are talking....and I love to just hear the sounds of the farm.

The people I sell them to will bottle feed! A lot of people like to bottle feed around here. The babies need milk or milk substitute for at least 8 weeks. I keep the babies here for a few days so they get all the colostrum they can!♡
@lotus....2 жыл бұрын
I've read moonspots cant be black or white or on white. Your little girl is cream and the spots look more brownish so I believe they are moonspots. Their colors change sometimes but whatever gets on the paperwork is what they go with lol.
@SageandStoneHomestead2 жыл бұрын
Ah, yes it makes sense black wouldn't count!!
@RosieandFriends12 жыл бұрын
Do you have people take them after they are a few days old?
@SageandStoneHomestead2 жыл бұрын
Yes a lot of people prefer to bottle feed and thr transisiton is easiest when they are as young as possible. We keep them on mama for a few days so they get as much colostrum as possible. ♡

What type of monitor do you have? Is the range good? We are getting 4 Nigerian Dwarfs next month and I want to be able to keep an eye in them. We also have chickens and new baby chicks on the opposite side of the house and have wanted a way to check in on them for some time now. Thank you and I love your videos!

Hey! Thanks so much! We have an 11 year old Summer Infant baby monitor. It doesn't have wifi, not that it would matter lol! It spans a good 500 feet if the range is clear, it will lose signal if there are too many walls breaking up the signal.
