i didn't know it had battery's in the hand set............changed and sorted now.......working again now.

My handset is making a ticking sound when on the base. I have changed batteries and done all the things suggested here. It wont pair now either. Any ideas?

Ashley Whiteman got it.. you just have to hold the * or hash key for a second, not tap it.
