Man, I dunno who runs that card shop but $5 for an MJ Smooth Groove is a ridiculous steal. I mean it's been 25+ years but pretty sure the original Beckett book value back in 1997 was $60...just so hard to believe any knowledgeable card shop would be selling that MJ card for $5 at any time in the last 25 years, lol. Definitely cool that it graded a PSA 9, would be a great addition to any MJ collection.

Congrats on all the PSA 10's! Yeah the older MJ cards are tough because of the card stock not being as polished as today's cards. I just can't do the pricing at the moment to grade some of my Booker pc.

PSA wants you to submit them in the Card Savers. They don't want you to submit cards in top loaders. If you're nervous about submitting cards, find a service that submits cards for you. I've heard good things about PC Sports Cards.

Die cut cards look AWFUL in PSA slabs and sometimes even get damaged wiggling around in the slab. Sad.

If you damage a card in a PSA slab, you are definitely mishandling the slab. You'd have to roughly bang it around.

U got a horse shoe think maybe they know the grading cost more then the value of the cards because all the things u were saying were wrong with the cards and getting all those gems but regardless congratulations because I've seen them screw over so many ppl on perfect extremely valuable cards well hopefully u got this luck with psa for the rest of there year all the best

Nah. It has nothing to do with luck. I'm just *really* critical when I look over cards, which is why I get so many 10s.
