Because sag ascendant has two subtypes. Most typical is taller, leggy, athletic with lighter shades of hair ( or light brown). Second subtype is shorter, darker hair and thicker ( large bodied).

I'm a Virgo with a Sagittarius ascendant, and I have to say that a lot of this is spot on. I find myself to be very chatty, restless, and irritable if I don't have something stimulating my mind. I am deeply into things psychological, and unknown, but I don't feel comfortable, as you have said, projecting that into the public eye. I speak about it openly with people I am close with, and even then I feel they see it as contradicting to some of my other views, because I am a Virgo, and some of what I do and say are cautious, and pragmatic, so the whole mystical, dangerous side is not congruent with everything else that I say/do. I'm Sagg rising with Taurus I.C. and I was raised with stable, predictable Tauruses (on a farm on top of everything) but I definitely, definitely see a pattern with Sagittariuses and Sagg risings having unstable or distant parents. Mine were emotionally distant. And I feel that's why Saggittarians are kinda aloof, more fixated on fun or ideologies than emotions, and why they notoriously shy away from commitment in relationships. KhadiJah Simms I was extremely skinny until 30. I was 6'1 and 136lbs! I went to the gym and now I am 186lbs and in better shape than most guys in their 20's. Being skinny is a chance because all your friends will be fat in their 30's and you will be in better shape and attract younger women. You could try the gym and lift weights. Eat lots of chicken, fish, potatoes, lentils and black beans, rice, some fruits, cereals, drink water, etc. Eat 5 or 6 meals a day. Go to the gym 4 times a week for 1 hour. Rest and eat again, etc. In a few months you could gain at least 20 pounds. No kidding.

Hi I'm a Libra with a Sagittarius rising at 26:43 degrees. But my birth chart doesn't match with the houses you're referencing them to. For example Capricorn should be in my second house but according to my chart I have Aquarius 5:21 degrees in my second. Pisces 15:37 degrees in my third. Aries 15:02 degrees in my fourth. Taurus 7:22 degrees in my fifth. Taurus 29:07 degrees in my sixth. Gemini 26:53 in my seventh. Leo 5:21 in my eight. Virgo 15:37 degrees in my ninth. Libra 15:02 in my tenth. Scorpio 7:22 in my 11 and Scorpio 29:07 in my twelfth. I'm confused. The group my 5th an 6th together and my 11th and 12th houses together and neglect Capricorn and Cancer. Yet I have Jupiter in Cancer which is a major planet for a Sagittarius rising. Astrology can be confusing yet I have so much interest in it. Yet I can't figure mine out. It must be because of the degree of my rising sign. Does anyone have an explanation so I can understand my chart?

reffi_e You are most looking at placidus house system. You need to look at equal house system to be able to see house ruler ship accurately. Change the option for the houses to "equal house" and you will not see these big and small houses. I do not believe in intercepted signs.

reffi_e Nice to meet you. I'm also a Libran with a Sagittarius ascendant. Under the Porphyry House system (which it is stuck on in the chart service I use), it is 24:36 Sagittarius; that mean Capricorn is at least half (or more) of my first house, and half of my second house. I actually listen to the Capricorn monthly forecasts most of the time because the transiting planets are the same as the transiting planets in my natal chart. So, yes, it has to do with how ow Sagittarius is in your chart and with what house system you are using.

Hey Jewel, in my natal chart I have this Sag Rising but when I calculate my vedic chart, I have a Scorpio Rising. I notice that its because of how tightly my Pluto and Ascendant conjunct and also line up on the cusp (literally 1° within the line), im really not sure which chart wheel i should view my life experience with, as goes with the houses mostly. The differences in my personal planets minus my sun sign are also off in the next sign over so I'm even more confused. Do you have any thoughts on this?

Your natal chart never changes. However, when living in a location different to your birth you can look at a relocation chart in conjunction to the natal as an additional tool of analysis. With most cases, only the ASC/houses, Vertex and POF (if you use them) will differ with a possible slight shift in the moon’s position. It’s generally only used if the relocation is long term or permanent. With my relocation from the northern hemisphere to the southern, it’s put my ASC in with my Sun sign with my Jupiter now exactly conjunct the MC. I’m looking to start a business that I’m hoping will be successful 🤞

I am late Sun (cusping Cap). My Sun is 29Deg. I feel like there is Cap also involved in my expression. So, my guess would be that there is a mix of both? With Cap cusp especially (when in late deg Sag 27-29) depression, repression of feelings through putting up a "happy, care-free" front can happen. As Saturn is typically a very repressive energy. And when ruling Cap, it can infamously make Cap stoic. Plus, Saturn finds joy in the 12th house of things we repress or suppress. In this cusp, the Saturnian influence can mean that while the Jupiter influence makes the high "high". The Saturn subtle influence can have the lows be LOW. Watch out for this. With Scorpio/Libra, look to the influence of Mars on that late Venus ruled Libra Asc( which can make them curiously angry and quick-tempered nature at times). Sometimes there could be lingering resentment and tendency for vengefulness or "exacting the score". The awareness of justice is there. And they may take it upon themselves to "right a wrong". This can make them judge and executioner. Watch out for this too.

+pborojerdi The ascendant is the ascendant, even if the rest of the first house is partially into the next sign. That's the case for many charts, when the first house goes into the next sign, but you are still ruled by Scorpio.
