I can relate-absolutely. There is a HUGE misconception in being a woman and a mom and "taking the motherly role" for all others. Society and how we see moms/women is no longer the "woman' does everything and the man just "brings in the bacon". Thats not the partnership I am looking for. I think I babied my ex too much, where he ended up doing very little. I finally stoped and looked around and realized I created, bought, planned our home,our life, raising my daughter and he was just "around". He didnt step up, didnt appreciate, took me for granted and our love fell apart to divorce. Only so much a person can put with. I still dont like the idea of the chasing game, meaning have to walk away to see value in someone-I get it but why does it have to go that far to see value in people?
