He's been working OT trying to get me to work for him again, so I will stay on the West Coast, but he's still clinging to his human shield girlfriend he jumped into a relationship with as soon as he knew I was moving out here. Now he says he loves me and he's sorry he underestimated my ability to move 2K miles away from my family, but he keeps offering me between $80-$100/hr because he wants me to just exist here in his friend zone.
