when i used to have this at the YMBA in Colombo, one of the only places for pure vegeterian Sinhala cuisine in 1983, they put also Cinnamon, in addition to clove and cardamon.....what a fond fond memory...and that one was only Sago, no noodles, which seems to have migrated south from north india?
