1:00 just to clarify, many people can achieve “glass skin” without shaving their face. it just depends on the individual’s skin, genetics, diet, skincare, etc. what works for some people might not work for others. skincare is personal, and people need to figure out what works best for their own skin and lifestyle.

She doesn't mean otherwise. Yes, some people may not need to shave their entire lives. They may not feel the need to or whatever. Though, some like me and Sagonia just do believe shaving leaves one w glass skin, smooth and flawless.

I achieved the glass skin without shaving my face . I'm kind of embarrassed a little because it's so glassy that people might think of it as an oily skin but when you touch it , it's not oily but smooth and soft , I like it but I don't like how glassy it looks so I have to put face powder in my skin to matte it

I have been shaving my face 3-4 years now and i can definitely tell shaving really improved my face ,my face glows after shaving,it removes dead skin and helps skincare products to penetrate better. Just there are few tips that all beginners who are starting to shave need to know:- 1) Wash your face really well with a face wash before and also use a mild exfoliator so the dead skin cells are removed causing easy shaving process. 2) mosturize your face really well(don't use much but kind of massage it also)after washing and exfoliation. Then according to your skin type and preference use a lubricant such as a thick mosturizer or face oil or aloe vera.(i use mosturizer and it work really well for me). 3) then apply the lubricant of your choice on the area targetted at the moment shave at an 45° angle. 4) please be slow and gentle as you may cut yourself and you can actually go over an area twice. 5) after the shaving process is done wipe your face with a cotton pad or tissue to remove all the hair and lubricant. 5) then wash your face well with face wash ( this is the most important step that people forget which causes acne )because your skin needs cleaning after shaving and after moisturise well and apply sunscreen it going out. 6) also clean your razor well with water or tissue and also sanitize it . DO NOT USE a razor after its blunt ,it will damage your skin more . 7)You can do it as often as once a week or as and when required(don't overdo it though). 8) Please do not use makeup and go out in the sun too much for atleast 10 hours after shaving cause after shaving the skin sensitive so it needs time to heal so just shave your face before going to bed at night . Take care lovelies ❤

as someone who also shaved my face regularly, here some tips: > not only your face and shaving kit, your surrounding also need to be clean, you don't want any germs. right? > after shaved, clean your face once again with mild cleanser then choose skincare that can soothes and moisturized your skin really well. ( i usually used skin pack or sheet mask ) > do not wear makeup right after shaving.

As a brown girl with thick black hair, I’ve been threading my face for the past 11 years. Even though I’ve tried waxing and shaving, I’ve always found myself going back to threading. Reasons being I’ve noticed ingrown hair with waxing and shaving and hair grew back way faster compared to threading. Shaving for me is definitely high maintenance. Over the years of threading I’ve also noticed my facial hair to be significantly thinner/finer.

Other sunscreens I love are the Purito Daily Go-To Sunscreen, the Garnier Anti-Dryness, the Garnier Hydra 24h and the Scinic Super Mild Sun Essence. Totally agree with you! But as someone who's started shaving her face regularly not so long ago, I've personally seen a HUGE difference in performance of the very same products I've been using for years now. Which my dermatologist told me was because the vellus hair and dead skin cells were removed during the process - helping the actives penetrate a little easier and deeper. And another big plus for me personally is make-up also looks/sits 10x better after saving. But I get it, it's not for everyone I guess

I've shaved my face off and on for almost 30 years and every time I did it, my face was very smooth. One piece of information that we should keep in our mind is that once we shave our face, the facial skin will be weaker than normal, but absorb everything we apply on our face very well. Therefore choosing the right skincare is very important, otherwise you might experience breakouts. It happened to me in the past, when I used skincare that was not right for my skin.

@@altsam9 because of the ingrown hairs it results in. Darker skin can get pigmentation as result because one scratch or one irritation is enough to leave behind marks on melanated skin. So anyone with complexion darker than olive tones.

As someone who tried to do this 2 years ago, I had the worst breakout in my entire life. I had cystic acne so bad, that I had to consult a dermatologist immediately. If you want to do this, it’s your own risk.

I don’t understand that nowadays girls make life harder for themselves, the peach fuzz is there for a reason it may protect your skin from bacteria I am 50 years old and everybody think I am in my mid twenties and the reason is that I never go under the sun and put organic jojoba oil as nighttime routine as I am acne prone skin and only this oil doesn’t cause breakouts on my face I started just this year using Korean and Japanese skincare which include melano cc vit c which is 5% and doesn’t irritate skin and beauty of joseon sunscreen and peptides and ceramides but the most important is sunscreen and moisturizer .

I'm a brown girl and i have very dark brown hair but threading doesn't work for me. I tried it and my face becomes hot and soon after that it gets itchy. Besides i always get acne the day after. But i tried shaving once and i got zero Side effects just soem dryness which is easy to solve with moisturizer.

Shaving your skin the date feels prickly when u kiss it. Or touch it. I feel I will thread as the hair will grow out softer also it will be far less time between shaving. I found strip wax worked for me but I didn't want to do it often as it pulled on the skin too much.

You don't need to shave skin to have goiud skin care. It also works fine without depending on what you put on your face. It's a hormonal issue for many women that hair grows immediately thicker or faster back if shaved. Especially when xxou get older. Removing dead skin from face also works with urea or other peeling tools such as Walnut sponges. Every skin is unique

Threading/face wax doesn't suit everybody's skin i got threading twice both time ended up with extreme burning and itching, once got my face waxed and i ended up w swollen face, full with red bumps and all the lady in parlour could do was apply either more moisturizer or ice packs 💀 so shaving it is for me 👍
