College of Medicine & Sagore Dutta Hospital (CMSDH), also known as Sagar Dutta Medical College, is a tertiary referral government hospital, medical college and research institute in the state of West Bengal, India. It is situated at Kamarhati, in the suburbs of Kolkata. It has been set up by the Government of West Bengal in 2010 and started M.B.B.S. courses from 2011 to reduce the shortfall of doctors in the state. How is the Dormitory for first years ? Are all students are alloted the Single hall. Are you allowed to use Air condition or Coolers in your hostels?

Dormitory is quite spacious. No not really. Mainly the AIQ people and students who do not live in the city get the hostel rooms while the rest are alloted the dormitory only till the other hostel rooms are free. Yes you can use air conditioner or coolers.

How many students share one cadaver in anat. practical and do everything student get there own microscope during practical? Are hostel washroom are clean? Can a student take hostel during 2nd year if they haven't taken in the 1st year? How is the attendance, does everyone attend practical class regularly? And how's the library and it's timings, can someone stay after college in library to study? Please can you answer me, it will be really helpful! 😊

@@snigdhasingha104 5-10 people share a cadaver depending upon the professor. Yes most of the time every student gets their own microscope in the lab but sometimes 2 people may be asked to share one. Girl's hostel washrooms are just okay, being a government hospital can't say it's the best but they are cleaned everyday. Yes,you can take a hostel room in any year,you just have to talk to our warden and apply for hostel room. Attendance is obviously taken regularly, it's beneficial to attend all practical classes. Library is nice,you will find most books there, timing-10am to 5 pm on weekdays. You can go to the library after college.
