There are still people out there living in darkness… for just a dollar a day you too can make a difference. If we work together I believe one day we will all live in a world where nobody has to go without hearing Ra. Imagine being able to walk down the street and not have to wonder if the person you just passed is suffering in silence completely unaware of Ra. Every morning i wake up and text a random number the link to this song with a simple message of encouragement, it says “don’t worry, you’re not alone, there was a time in the last century when none of us knew, your suffering is over now”

Agreed. I saw them when they toured on their first album at the Roseland in Portland, OR. I told the singer after the show how much i liked them and he said I was the only person that had said anything to him and gave me a cd from the merch table for free. Seriously impressed me and they absolutely killed it so needless to say Ive been a fan ever since. I don’t understand how so many are missing out.

So versatile. They have music for everyone. One of very few bands in my personal opinion that never ceases to expand their artistic expertise. Another example of a band that can do that is Alice In Chains if that gives an example of how good RA is

Skoota likes to mix together triplets and 32nd notes within a phrase. He's a lefty but he plays righty which makes for some very unique sticking patterns. Hope that helps a bit.
