Consider investment account like trading account as in trading account we don't calculate profit or loss for each sale , We just record purchase and sale and at end we value closing stock and after recording closing stock in trading account we just do balancing and what the balance we get it is either profit or loss similarly in investment account first we record purchase and sale of investments and then we will record closing investment and after balancing we will get either profit or loss. Note- That profit and loss is net of profit and loss for each investmen

Sir having been solved the above solution for valuation of closing stock. Wherein you took without brokerage. Means you actually took no of shares * rate. Because here in this question there is no brokerage. My query is what if brokerage is given in the question. And we need to take net brokerage value. As calculation of closing stock ?? Under WAC.
