Great convo. My first of your podcasts. As a working professional, the take-aways from 20:30 TO 24:10 is gold. So simple yet so difficult to practice, if only people starting practicing and respecting this, work life for most would be so much more bearable! ‘Can this wait till Monday, can this wait till morning, we’re not doing life-saving work’ - a gold nugget for professionals to live-by, preach and practice!

As a point of discussion it would have been nice to discuss fails as well apart from wins. Clearly she comes from a privileged background where she has the space and time to juggle multiple things. But a lot of people in the industry (speaking from experience) live in tiny houses, far away from work spaces and find it very difficult to juggle work and life because we end up having to do basic things like even cook for ourselves. Take care of our physical appearance with very limited means. So at the end of the day it is just this audience which may or may not have the means to achieve this listening to a privileged person talk about her experience. This reflects in her reflection of Pakistan as well , as correctly pointed in another comment. She left (or was asked to leave, not sure) multiple companies including unacademy after a very short stint. She could discuss ups and downs instead of just making it a very bookish journey. To be honest I felt this was a very utopian conversation. Most of the people have a very difficult journey to the top and come from extremely challenging backgrounds. Takes on failing, moving on is far more inspiring than wins of a person with all luxuries of life.

I recently visited Kashmir and let me tell you it is so much more than what you see, read, or talk about! People are so warm, so loving, and they themselves say media misrepresents a lot! Yes, people should visit Kashmir. But we also need to protect it. Be it politically, culturally, or environmentally. Because we cannot make it like another Uttrakhand or Himachal. I like the fact that there is army support and control. It keeps things in place. I like that people are so ethical when it comes to irresponsible plastic usage, dumping, or even taking pictures in the restricted areas! I am always going to wish well for that place. It is literally heaven that needs to be protected and cared for. And the people of Kashmir also deserve more. Also, loved the podcast! ✨

Hey Varun, Lovely conversation, some answers were open ended and rightly so because you guys left it to us to interpret it in our own ways.Would love to have you ask more questions to women especially about how they made it ,the non negotiables because I notice there aren't a lot of solid female torchbearers in terms of actually being honest about their journey.

Sahiba had been to Pakistan once and feels that Pakistanis are good people. This conclusion coming from a Kashmiri seems very amusing to me. She should atleast learn about her family history and also understand difference between how people behave as an individual and a collective. She had overlooked few decades of history and suffering of millions of people just because Pakistani people treated her well, lol!. She is a great entertainer, probably great marketing executive too , and knows nothing about politics or history. So please limit the questions and conversations to their area of expertise 🙏

Have you been to Pakistan or Kashmir sir?

well why does an entertainer or model needs to know about these things, and perspective pf people always differ person to person
@abhishekmhatre15547 ай бұрын
She's actually not Kashmiri. Both her parents are Punjabi, it's just her that her dad used to live in Kashmir. A lot of Punjabis have this naive and rose-tinted perception of Pakistan.

Why today's modern, independent, empowered women can not wear something in which they can sit properly, comfortably, and confidently...!!? What is wrong with indian traditional wear, or any wear in which they feel comfortable...!!? What kind of pressure today's modern generation girls are having so that they think skin show is the most important aspect of beauty. This needs to change in society..!! This can only change when self made women like you change themselves..!!
@Kaalpnick8 ай бұрын
Buddy I think we shouldn't not care that much about others comfort. Let them wear what they want.
