I completely agree on remixes thing. It's always good when remixes are done for next generation. On Govinda vs Akshay, I love both. One movie where they have acted together is Bhagam bhai, I feel Govinda stole the show there. However, it's hard to compare these 2 legends as there careers as comedy heroes were in 2 different decades. Govinda was a comical hero in 90s vs Akshay in 2000s

I genuinely feel that in all the Akshay movies that are good, actors like Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav have elevated his performance. Even though Govinda movies also had actors like Kader Khan and Shakti Kapoor, he literally carried those movies. Also, in my opinion, Kishore Kumar was the best comedic lead actor, hands down.

The issue with Dhoom 3 and Kick was these films went against their premise- there was no need to give a reason for the heists. But all three Dhoom and Race 1 are great to watch.

And… going about the Hindi songs being better than originals….. there two cases - one where it’s true and other where both are just too apart in terms of energy but equally good (for me) and they are from the same movie - Maine Pyaar Kiya. The scene after the song "zaraa sa jhum lun mai" was the worst. 1. A girl's dignity is important to her irrespective of her nationality. Any woman who is sexually harassed, whether Indian, British, Spanish or Kenyan, will feel traumatized. 2. Indian women also have desires and sexual needs. Treat them like normal humans. 3. Simran wasn't an Indian, she was British. 4. You can have all the fun with Spanish women but "hindustani aurat" has to maintain her "izzat". Maybe, the Spanish girl dumped Raj because he was a creep. If she was racist, she wouldn't date him in the first place.
