If you have carbon paper, i find its useful to take many different ref pictures that you can take the aspects you like of each of them then put them together using carbon paper to transfer the outline over. Or trace the referances onto one sheet of paper in a way that you like (I'm lazy I just c&p it into word, crop the part I like, then use the position and rotate functions to move it around before printing it and then transferring over. Editing is too much work)
