Hello!! Hey, do you know if elderberry is safe during pregnancy??! There is NO information that I can find on it. I asked a very sweet pharmacist and tried looking anything on it and saw nothing!

@@jpmarie9 hi, there! Honestly, you will hear different recommendations from different Herbalists depending on their training, experience, and intuition. For all herbs/fungi during pregnancy and otherwise. An example is that, I use hibiscus and hawthorn berry for circulatory support & varicose veins, but there are numerous sources out there that would tell you it's risky or even dangerous. My question, if I was doing an intake with you would be, what is the reason for the elderberry? Is it easily accessible in your bioregion? And then, is there another herb/medicine that can achieve the same effect you're looking for, but with even less toxicity? I would recommend fire cider over elderberry syrup, if you're looking to boost your immune system, but also advise people, especially pregnant women, to trust your instincts, follow your gut, and pray about it. 💗 Hope that was helpful. I totally feel you on the dogs being like more kids. We've got a golden retriever and a golden doodle and they are pretty chill for the most part, but definitely keep me just as busy as the kids 😂😂

I enjoy everything you post! I love that you eat a predominantly whole foods diet as it is easy for a vegan (WFPB) mama to adapt so many of the recipes❤️ I enjoy seeing you keep your home and parent etc in a more relatable way. I have a hard time relating sometimes to fellow moms of bigger families who live in very large homes and/or tropical paradises. No offense to them, but I just mean personally being able to relate. Hi!! I just discovered your channel and have been binge watching your stuff :). I read the comments usually of a video as soon as I start it and I saw that someone talked about you mentioning you have low iron. I am not sure if you know this (because I just started the video), but I saw you pour yourself a cup of tea and thought I would ask: Did you know that drinking tea prevents the absorption of iron? I just found this out and I am an AVID tea drinker (like... I collect tea lol) and have anemia. What I do is I take a multivitamin after I wake up and eat something. Then, about thirty minutes after, I will drink tea. I believe this gives my body enough time to absorb the vitamins before I drink the tea. PLEASE know that I am NOT a doctor nor a nutritionist, and I have barely done my research. My information may be wrong but I would definitely bring it up to your doctor or use this information to help you decide what you're wanting to do :).

I always take my supplements at different times than anything with caffeine. I think that’s what hinders the absorption? The caffeine and not the tea itself…but idk I could be wrong. So glad you’re here!!
