Today, I explored abandoned Fort Wadsworth, located in Staten Island, New York. There was a lot to see here and I had so much fun. There were not a lot of people even it’s in the middle of day time, so you will fully enjoy your own exploration at this site. This was one of my favorite Instagram photo spots! I hope this video helps you planning for your next trip in Staten Island!

Cool little tour of the historic part of fort wadsworth , back in 1975 a friend and I actually got into the fort itself , it was like going back in time and there were spiral staircases of granite and you can still sense the horses and men in there preforming their daily routine , it was quite the adventure for us, as we were leaving we got caught and thrown out of the fort , they knew what we were doing only didn't catch us in the old fort , but because we were somewhere where we weren't supposed to be they drove us to the front gate and said stay out 🙁 . One suggestion though , if there's a next time I would take a friend or two with me because you just don't know who's hanging out in the woods off the main paths , but thanks for a nice tour it brought back memories .

I use to live there when I was a kid in the mid 80's. At the time it was an army base which eventually turned into a navy base and most of that was off limits but, of course that didn't stop us all from exploring we just had to make sure we weren't caught by the MP's. Thank you for some really good memories from my childhood. 👍

My brother and I were in those tunnels/bunker back in 1985. We lived in the Coast Guard’s Rosebank housing area a mile away at the time. When we walked through there, Fort Wadsworth was still an active army base so we found documents from the 70’s on the ground in the tunnel. We didn’t stick around though since our dad had rented Alien on vhs the day before and there was “goo” in the tunnel that looked like alien saliva.

Very nice video. I also like your visit to the Governor's Island. Do you know The Cloisters in New York?. Would be a nice place to be explored.

Cloisters? Where is it located? I haven't visited one.

@@SahyaSuzuki It's in the north of Manhattan. This location appears at the end of the Clint Eastwood's movie The Coogan's Bluff in the motorbike chase scene. There is a park and a museum called The Cloisters, an european neogothic architecture building.

@@sunrise7134 omg I know exactly where this is located! I remember I walked passed through when I was visiting the park but I didn't get inside because I thought videography for YT needed a permission. Maybe I should come back with my phone camera!

No there’s no camera here and this is literally and completely abandoned. You have no risk to see security. You can visit just like when you walk into a regular park
