Saipata is a pre wedding ceremony in Newari Community where as seen in the video Varieties of goodies in the name of Sagun is brought by groom side to the bride. The bride will go through the ceremony where she will accept all the goodies brought to her. It's sort of making the bride special and ready for the wedding to be accepted by the side of groom's family.
