@biguy525 re-did this one like three times.. I intended to cover the pistol grip / trigger move.. but there is a lot to cover with the Saigas.. What parts are confusing? We could touch on things in future vids

These are the types of vids I really like from your channel because I feel they are informative and your not just "showing" the product. You sound very knowledgeable about the subject and the audience learns something. Great vid and thanks.

@i7q Yes. most of the new ones do (except shotguns) but years ago a bunch were imported without the dimples

@LedZeppelinXV They both dealt with the same types of 'feature' but the AWB expired in 2004 and applied to private ownership in the US.. Import laws still exist and apply only to the firearm as it enters the country

I just got a Saiga chambered in .223 and I'm wanting to chop the barrel 2.5" and pin and weld a 4pc Bulgarian booster. my concern is will it effect the ability to cycle the action and will it cause the bullets to key hole. any info would be greatly appreciated.

@formatC2 I'm waiting for that too Many are way to detailed some are too basic.. "The Grim Reaper" is the newest one (although the title is lame)

It is all a matter of opinion about moving the trigger forward just like customizing with accesories, etc.. Most people like myself would say moving the trigger forward on the Saiga 12, Saiga 7.62 will make a difference, just like customizing the trigger group assembly with a lower trigger pull will improve accuracy. On the Saiga 7.62 moving the trigger forward allows you to use the old and new style AK mags. If you have any other questions, message me.

Is their an advantage to moving the trigger forward to AK format or is this a cosmetic issue only? Once the Saiga is modified to accept AK magazines, will it still accept Saiga magazines or only accept AK magazines?
@GunWebsites12 жыл бұрын
@frankgon4 both will work after the mod

I have the Saiga .223, was debating on converting it, then thinking about just buying the pistol grip+stock which makes it look funny. Decided to just keep it as is with a UTG quad rail and Magpul AFG. Its comfortable to me now. Although the quad rail looks slick, it actually makes it effing bulky.

I have a quick question for you, I just bought a WASR 10 AK and the safety lever rotates up to high if I don't pull it up slowly, is that normal?

i want a saiga 12. How much would a gunsmith charge if i had the trigger moved foward and had a pistol grip put on?
@GunWebsites14 жыл бұрын
@M4CARBINE556 Not 'normal' but an easy enough 'fix' just bend it in a bit

I dont get the point of having an AK model shotgun. Its cool, but why not use a normal shotgun. I love the AK as much as anyone, but I wouldn't want every rifle to look AKish. For a all black model Id have to say the folding stock AK101 is beautiful, and for a normal AK you cant beet the wood finish of the original style.
