A little bit on why Saiki can’t read nendou’s mind isn’t becuase he’s just dumb, he genuinely literally doesn’t think, when he says something it perfect matches up with his through, so if endow were to do something, he’d think about it.

In Season 3 finale, Nendo gets the mind read voice effect in his "you don't have to reveal your secrets" speech, right at the end. Although it's a repeat of what he just said, and it could have been used as a special effect rather than actual mind reading, I choose to believe that Nendo _did_ actually think that last bit, he put genuine thought into the words he just said to Saiki (and the group as a whole to get them to back down from interrogating his buddy).

Thing is, while that does explain why Saiki can't PREDICT nendou, he should still be able to locate him.

@@Nuclearburrit0 His Clairvoyance powers have to be active, they're not passively used. Alternatively, someone else can be thinking about Nendo (such as talking to him), which Saiki can also hear. But for the most part, unless Saiki makes a conscious choice to locate Nendo, if Nendo's alone, he has disappeared off Saiki's radar, for instance, when he tries to escape the school while invisible and Nendo was in the bathroom stall next to him.

@@EvilParagon4 I mean his telepathy should be able to locate nendou. He can use mind reading to tell where someone nearby is. The explanation for why he can't read Nendou's mind is that he thinks simultaneously with his speech with no delay. So if Nendou walks up and talks to him then he just hears speech. However this should mean that if he's just in another room, Saiki should still be hearing thoughts from him, even if it's just his actions in real time rather than his plans for future actions like normal.

Possible spoilers for the second season of the show: If y'all are wondering why throughout the series that Saiki seems to get better at his powers (ie: lower wait times, better accuracy,etc) the idea is that because they are trapped in a time loop, over the however many years they've been stuck Saiki has had the time to grow his skills and his powers, this in preparation to stop the deadly volcano. Also, it's plot convenient. Lol

Maybe I don't remember or the English dub version changes certain lines but I don't remember Saiki telling about a cooldown between each teleportation. But in the other hand it's highly likely that since the device on his head limits his powers, he has a cooldown on some of them, I also remember an episode where the device on his head ceased to work correctly... Anyway, his powers are still somehow vague, we don't really know how the limitations works so I guess it's fine to have some contradictory details ?

I'd say the power of some abilities can be affected by his mood, adrenaline, his age and the state of his antena (broken and then fixed, but not working at the same level as it was before) as the series progresses he becomes more and more powerfull
