Yeah...Yangire is basically Yandere's deadlier cousin with a different motivation and it is nothing to do with emotional attachment. So I like it that it is the hardest mode (Yangire).

giving it my best guess, i think the yandere would only attack you in the case of like. seeing you grab a key or something, like youre trying to leave her. so maybe she would be less likely to do something that will KILL you and instead just incapacitates or captures you. so in that sense I could see it being an easiest difficulty. On the other end of that, yangire would definitely be a constant crazed/sadist state. i think the biggest thing the modes affect is her disposition, though her disposition does play a major role in the difficulty. Like, in theory, yandere would be more composed (note how she’s much more put together compared to the other modes) My thought process is mainly coming from the difference between yandere and yangire. A yandere’s insanity comes from the need to have the object of her obsession, which would give her some incentive to want to keep you alive if possible, where as a yangire is insane for reasons that have nothing to do with love, so she’d have no qualms hurting you and no reason to really try to keep you around.

@@Modsu Tbh running away became much more difficult. She doesn't suffer from class chases anymore. But i think Yungiri also will have one shot mode most of the time due to being in chase for a long time.

@@durema9720 the only things in the current state i think need some balancing out are her speed, because I feel like a major component of the fear factor that came from not knowing if or when she’d pop up or spot you is lost if you can’t shake her in the first place. I really appreciate the AI’s advancement, but I do miss the sense of dread the first build had where she kind of lingered and loomed in your area rather than finding you so quickly and easily. That element of “does she see me? does she not see me? is she going to be around this corner?” kind of goes away when shes near constantly right behind you. I like the mechanics of her toying with you a LOT, i definitely dont want those going away, and I do have faith that the developer will sort these things out as time goes on, but i dont think the game will be at its full potential until her speed is balanced a bit. The only thing other than that is that right now hiding doesnt seem to have much use. I’ve yet to see anyone opt to use it over just juking her around desks and whatnot, so I feel like it should either be made a more viable option somehow, or taken out all together. if that’s no longer the direction the developer really wants to go in, it’d be better for them to focus on what they do want to implement instead. I’m a long time lover of the yandere archetype, and of indie horror, so I have high hopes for this one because of how effective it is in what it seeks to do and the ideas coming out of this developer (developers? i dunno)

@@Modsu Well. I think to balance things out her insane mode should get some adjustments. For example maybe increase the time she going into aggression mode giving just enough time to hide or run. In my opinion previous version had a problem that her hiding spots were to obvious(peeking behind the corner with red glowing eyes is no good). Her speed wasn't really a problem and you could ran away. However now she will mostly get a hit on you in the chase. One shot mode should maybe make her a little slower so you have time to react. Or let her have her own stamina and after 10 second of running she will get tired. This will make gameplay more immerse since you hiding from a normal human(a very deadly one but still).

I would love if the developers added this additional stage: The school has a compound around it. As soon as you leave the building, there's no gate in front of you- You have to get past the entrance compound (I mean a one like Yandere Simulator has). So my idea, is that the first stage would be getting the key of the building and escaping (Already in the game). And then the second stage would be to get past the whole surrounding of the school. So once you got out of the building, the Yandere/Yangire would start to chase you around the exterior of the building- which means you would have to do things similar to getting keys, objects, etc. And then finally escape the main gate. After you completely get out of the school, that could be the whole game *or* she could chase you till your house, etc. The story could go in many ways 💕

Yandere difficulty, I would assume she doesn't poison you, because she's wearing shoes I also assume she provides you with those and doesn't break glass. No endings result in your death. She will still trick you. Yangire is no mercy. She will relentlessly pursue you. More damage is taken because she is less merciful. The chances of an instant death increase. Bad ending will likely be more brutal if not the same as the normal and easy mode, which result in the protagonist being decapitated.
