When you first go through it if you have the arrows it's going to hit the devil guy at the end easily because of the angle of the arrows also allows fighting from a distance now the bracelet thing you better learn how to dodge before you get to that part 🤔🤣

I beat this game when I was 8 after trying intensely and made me stop rage quitting full stop. Well this and Mario lost levels turned me more patient with video games. The bat part with the towers is the hardest part of the game IMHO. I can make it to the ending now, i still suck with the bracelet.

Super Castlevania 4 is likely the easiest Castlevania of the 16 bit and earlier era (SotN was piss easy too once you got better upgrades, turning the game into a joke), this game though, it WILL test your patience, but is beatable.

This game was SUCH a nightmare to get through. The only way I ever succeeded was by using Save Points on the WiiU Gamepad. I know, it's a cheat, but this game was SO bloody difficult that I really had trouble playing it any other way, honestly.

Turnajon using save ponits isn´t chaeting, if the game allows you to do it. If this would be the case, then you would have so many games, with ingame cheats, auto save etc. A cheat is if you make yourself invincible, or unlimited arrow or something like that. BGGRLY is a code in True Lies, to become immortal and this is a cheat.

The one on Sega is a port of the arcade game, this is a sequel (and we wouldn't see another for many years till the PSP came along, with 2 revisions of the game, second one stayed in Japan, and got rid of the fetch quest of UGnG, but added a continue limit, and is brutally difficult to complete). Japan would get a couple more on cellphones after the PSP game of course.

That's pretty rough. I guess cheating might be the way to go if you really just have to play it. It is possible, I'd know because I finished it was back when, but man is it hard. That pirate ship and raft part took many the try to get it down just right to reliably pass the area.

SNES was a 3rd generation machine? You can see it struggling mightily. It is wild to see a machine struggle with onscreen objects and slow down. It has become rare to see this but you know the machine is WORKING to do all of that at once. Really neat to see and gripping to watch. I forget how super hard games used to be.

Early game in the consoles lifespan, took a bit for some companies to learn how to program for the system. Like the Saturn, it was tough to program for, and some devs cheaped out using SlowROM instead of FastROM chips.

This had amazing graphics and effects for being on a console three months old. Better than Super Castlevania 4, for sure. The "alien" stage was especially impressive. Perhaps the music wasn't quite so nice, but it definitely held its own. And you definitely needed super skills to even get to see any of that.

And didn't make you restart the whole game after beating the final level because you didn't have a stupid bracelet. And you could shoot in 8 directions. And less cheap game design overall. And the enemy's were less cheap. And had more innovative levels. And had cooler mechanics. And controlled better overall. And was actually fun.

Nah, never had plans to do the bottom row. I think that row was just an easy mode of sorts. Pretty sure I'm done with GnG. I think there is a SMS version of one of the games, but there are a few things about it that make it quite different from other versions, and I didn't quite care for it.

Even the PSP Ghosts N Goblins is hard, mainly in Ultimate Mode, where the old 2 hits and dead thing is in full effect. The second revision on PSP upped the anti, 2 hits and dead in all modes, and limited continues. This game here also has a continue limit, but collecting moneybags keeps the continues flowing, making them ultimately endless.

Never heard of them. They go in blind, so to speak? Besides the fact I've played almost every game on Earth as a kid, all I do now (due to my failing health) is play video games. A lot goes into a video. Practice, reading up on guides, taking notes for certain section, etc. While this isn't a no hit run (as I mention in the description) I think it turned out rather nice. Of course, all the practice in the world has yet to allow me to make a video for one game in particular: Super Smash TV. I've been trying that game for years now. I've gotten good...Really good, but I always seem to mess up here or there. One day though, I swear before I kick the bucket I will put up a video for it....Gah...

SaikyoMog They're more entertainers than those that strive to make playthroughs meant to show "no-hit/no-death all secrets revealed" ones. Still, they couldn't get past the first stage after so many tries so I can't pretend that it wasn't somewhat painful to watch even with all their goofy banter Yes, I was surprised, and felt bad, to hear of your ailing health. It is certainly one of those things I wish something could be done for in time. While no-hit playthroughs are always astounding, I'm more than satisfied with all secrets revealed-no death playthroughs. There are two game players on KZbin that I always recommend people to for their guaranteed quality videos: AdamSpencer87 and you. To me, your videos are well beyond nice as they show a skill in gaming that most don't seem to adequately portray. I certainly look forward to watching a video of SuperSmash TV from you when it comes out. I hadn't even heard of that game until... Yahtzee Croshaw played it on one of his Lets Drown Out episodes. Got me hooked to see more of it from then on. So perfect of high quality, I'm sure you'll do it justice as you always do. :)

To be fair, the Genesis game is a prequel, and was put on a small cart, and was an early game on the console. If they had waited a few years for bigger ROM spaced carts, it would've turned out better than what it did. A fan is working on a hack that greatly improves the Genesis version (guy named aMaru), he even started adding some background detail missing in the original Genesis version. And from screenshots I have seen, it is quite an improvement over the original Ghouls N Ghosts on the Genesis.

Heh...One thing you don't have that I do is a lack of a life. I can actually say (due to my life ending around February due to my terminal cancer) I wasted my entire life playing video games. I wouldn't give it up for another life though...I've quite enjoyed it. I may not be good at anything that's worth a darn, but I can play video games like no other (well, minus most sports games and tactical ones...Was never good at those) Practice makes perfect, and I've had plenty :P

Tbh, this game wasn't as brutally difficult as some say, except for the goddamn last level (before the last boss). You have to beat the level untouched, to get the golden armor and the shield, just to reach the bracelet. Then, if you die, you have to restart the whole level with that awful shitty weapon. But that fucking thing can't kill Firebrand for shit. So I have to keep dying until the bow appears, that way I can kill Firebrand. Then I reach the bracelet. But the bosses are FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE with the Bracelet. So I die. And then, *Rinse and repeat* the WHOLE fucking process. Wow!

This game was not built with speed in mind, not even on the Capcom Generation 2 version (PS1 and Saturn, later ported to PS2, the PS1 version that is, in Capcom Classics Collection Vol 1), where all slowdown is removed. This is a console exclusive game in the series, so they slowed the pacing down some, but even then the game will hand you your balls on a silver platter.

I read from so many gamers that this game Is too difficult to finish. If you are playing this game on an emulator click on cheats at the top of the emulator screen before you start the game and enter in this code--7E027602 . That code will give you invincibility and you can breeze through the game and finish it easily.
