It wasn't bad. It could have improved a few things here and there I suppose.

i love how you managed to confuse the game by getting it to replay another tune over the boss tune.

Back in the day, I had a choice between this and Starfox. I am glad I went with Starfox. This game tries to be Mario in the platforming, but lacking of the persistent power ups to combat enemies or tight platforming, and tries to be Sonic, but fails in keeping the speed smooth or having nice speedy sections that isn't jarring which would have helped if... This game have a second hit for Bubsy, rather this game has a no hit play. This is something that both Mario and Sonic had. It meaning you can't get hit period or risk starting over at a continue or worse, if you can't get to the password generators, you are stuck playing the three levels over again, including the boss which with the no hit play, means you cannot possibly do this well and be frustrated after the first try. And the theming, is random. Nothing absolutely is sensible, even more so in video gaming back then. Aliens invade... to steal wool yarn? And this bobcat is out to stop them? Yeah, tell me that this isn't out of place, even more so back then. So, in actuality, this game is a challenge because of teaching the player really quickly not to get hit, anything maybe a hazard, to take it slow, and be above the level to avoid any potential hazards (i.e. skip the obstacles).

Renigami Which is why Bubsy 2 is sometimes considered superior, with it's 3-hit system as opposed to the 1-hit system. The enemies don't respawn, so you can take it slow like Mario the first time you're exploring the levels and after you die you can just speed your way through like Sonic. Just saying. PS. Bubsy is not realistic, but neither is a blue hedgehog faster than the speed of sound or a fat plumber that jumps higher than castles and saving mushroom-men. :\

I actually own this game. It's pretty good, it's a shame about the sequels though, especially the playstation one.

me too, I love bubsy but bubsy 2 wasn't that bad of a sequel, man, I played it and beat it and I have to say it was a really decent and nice sequel to bubsy, I tried playing bubsy FFT but like back in the day 'today jaguar emulators make you vomit and the sites to play them are even worse I couldn't help but watch the gameplay of the game and damn it was extremely hardest and fascinating for the graphics, even for how awfully bubsy 3D it is that game had so much potential , in fact after that disaster in 1996 (probably as you know) in the 2010s bubsy TSWB and bubsy POF came out! which proved to be more promising than the first bubsy but also despite everything not even those sequels managed to achieve the same love as bubsy 1 because they were not original, but TSWB was the most criticized for very few levels and the lack of originality of the game engines! bubsy 2 was practically the only one among the sequels of bubsy 1 to prove itself decent and worthy not only by the originality of the gameplay and the game itself but also by the function of the weapons and the bonus levels with Arnold the armadillo and the frogs that he has all inside it, and that's why we all consider bubsy 2 the best sequel to bubsy❗❗❗

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Jeremy would have been glad to hear that another fan of the older games had watched. Jeremy’s dad

Surprising enough, Bubsy 3D was made by the same team that made the first game because they thought that Bubsy II and Fractured Furry Tales ruined the franchise. At some point, due to research, it was planned to be as welcoming at Super Mario 64 but the idea was scrapped because it came in too late in development.

5:53 - That's a sort of glitch that's triggered when the cloak wears off as the boss battle starts. I wonder why the pitch of the music increases when you jump on top of the giant UFO...

Sonic The Kid Yeah I wonder why it happens. I know that its because the ROM isn't working properly but I don't know the cause.
@TheSmallBlue9 жыл бұрын
i don't think is the ROM... i downloaded 15 ROMS of this game AND NONE OF THEM WORK.

Normally, the boss theme pitches up every time you hit the boss. But due to a glitch (the black shirt got away after the battle started) the music was the normal one.
